A large hotel which is brilliantly run by efficient and friendly staff. Rooms are small but we were only in it to sleep! Breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and there was plenty of choice. The bathroom was an engineering marvel the only design fault I could see was the toilet roll got wet when you showered. Easy solution -... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The check in was very smooth and the staff very helpful. The room was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed, including a TV with an English Channel and free wifi. Located very near the train and metro station and next door to fields shopping centre. We had a... More

We arrived at Copenhagen airport and needed a place to stay before departing on a cruise the next day. There were 5 in our group, two couples and myself, so we needed 3 rooms and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. We chose the Cabinn Metro because we arrived on different flights and so wanted somewhere close... More

Hotel room was small, but with basic essentials. Breakfast was adequate with mixture of bread, cheese, cold meats, yogurts, cereals etc - standard North European fare. Hotel located near metro and railway station (8 minutes walk) with easy links to city centre and airport, both about 15 minutes away. The hotel is also well sited for the Bella Centre (about... Don't come here looking for fancy. But for backpacker or hostel standards this is quite nice. It is highly utilitarian -- the sink and the shower can not be used as the same time for example as you have water everywhere. Our girls got a kick out of the fold from the wall bunk beds and the efficient set up... More

Been here for a business trip for 6 days. The reception looks fine, even though there are a lot of people hanging around and actually sometimes screaming at one another in languages of which you don't even know they would exist. The lines before getting some help are horrible, drinking a beer in the lobby becomes an annoying business as... More

The room had bedbugs, which the staff we're incredibly laid back about. On returning home I've had to put all my belongings in a freezer and am paying for dry cleaning to avoid them travelling with me. The staff could have been much more apologetic about the situation. I had to work hard to even get a 'sorry' out of... More

Business trips 2 times in 2014. Small rooms, you better pay extra for "bigger" room, showers are horrible but you can manage with humour :D breakfast was okay. Can be very full because big hotell and lots of guests but it was quiet altough airport is near. 14 floor room was with the vest views!

Check in was smooth and informative, even at midnight! The room is just like a cabin on a ship, I was hesitant at first but after I got into the room I realized just how much space there was! It's not extremely small and is just right for the price. Just what I needed after a long flight!

Good connection's from Metro (M2 line) or with train direct from airport Near big new Commercial shoping center and Bella congress/convention center Building is one of Denmark’s most modern hotels, designed by the American architect Daniel Libeskind. Location is peaceful and breakfast is "rich" :-) Many workers from building sites in Copenhagen sometimes use this hotel, but their accommodation aren't... More

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
