Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Contrary to recent reviews by others, I didn’t have any problems with this hotel. Stayed here for 5 nights over the summer, and while it was small and bare-bones (compact washroom, bunk beds) it was clean with convenient access to the airport and city core. This is a no frills accommodation and the price reflects that. There is a large shopping mall nearby with a supermarket that is open late.

The bedroom has a double decker bed, so it can accommodate 2 guests, but not too much space for big luggages. There is a smell in the room that reminded me of being inside a plane. Even the interior design including the materials are similar to those being used inside a plane. The bathroom was very small, really, it's like just 1 meter square or less, only a curtain to separate the shower and the toilet bowl. It's quite close to a shopping mall though, so it's quite convenient. And there is a big locker room at the basement where you can keep your luggage but they are not locked. There is also pantry and laundry room. It's good enough for short stay but not too comfortable and convenient as it is far away from the town, but convenient for those who are having short transits as it is nearer to the airport.

The hotel is fairly basic and as others have said the rooms are quite small and compact - think a cabin on a ship - but I can’t really say anything bad about this hotel. I chose it based on location and cost for a three night trip and would stay again if I ever found myself back in Copenhagen.

The hotel is around 7 minutes from the airport in one direction (and onwards to Sweden), and around 7 minutes from central Copenhagen in the other. There is also the option of taking the metro in the direction of the city centre which only adds a fraction to the time.

Located next to a large shopping centre with food court you aren’t short of eating options if the thought of heading into Copenhagen doesn’t appeal.

If all you are looking for is a bed for the night, you could do worse than consider this hotel.

All lights in the bathroom were broken so there was no light whatsoever. When I told the staff, they did nothing and offered no compensation. The room also smelled very strongly of disinfectant - too strong, it burned my eyes. The bed was also very uncomfortable.

Had a great value stay in a Captain Double room. I was a little wary having read past very negative reviews but was fairly confident having noticed that there seemed to have been a big turnaround at the start of 2023. I really need not have worried as it fulfilled all of our needs and we had a really good stay.

The room was small but there was certainly enough room for the two of us for a couple of nights with space for storage, hanging and a safe (which unfortunately we never managed to get to work, but that was the only negative). Shower room was as cosy as expected but was perfectly functional, the only improvement could have been the addition of a towel rail to both dry used bath towels and to avoid needing to exit into the bedroom with wet hands after washing them.

Staff on Reception were all really helpful and the breakfast (DKK99 if purchased by the night before) was excellent, plentiful, varied and, although busy, was kept well topped up by the staff.

The Metro and main line railway station (for the airport – 6 minutes or city centre – also 6 minutes by train or 10 minutes by Metro, choose your form of transport dependant on where you are heading) are just an eight minute walk away with Field’s shopping centre in between, with a large supermarket for basic supplies and various eating options, though we opted to catch the train into the city each evening for something a little more ‘special’.

Copenhagen is notoriously expensive for hotels and as we were only on a short break, we knew we wouldn’t want much time in the hotel so were happy with the budget choice offered by Cabinn.

Comfortable bed and great breakfast, the rooms don’t have aircon which means you do have to have the window open on warm evenings, so be prepared for some background noise.

Only 5 minutes walk from the Metro station and a short ride into the city or the airport

Would definitely use again

I have used the Cabinn Hotels before and I know exactly what to expect. I selected the hotel because of its location (near a client) and because it was all I needed during my three day stay. The rooms are small but there is everything you'd need. We are in Scandinavia so the design is well thought out and, yes, you can shower in the small bathroom without getting everything wet (just remember to turn the show selector switch back to the basin when you've finished!).
I like the healthy breakfast which is good value if booked in advance.

If you need more space, you can select a bigger toom or go for the Cabinn Apartments next door. Easy to get to city (metro and DSB) or the airport (DSB).

After all the complains I received from the guys of the company i work for as hr, i had to try it by myself. The rooms are awful, little, no services as phon, in the bathroom if you open the water in the sink you can take the shower at the same moment. They have parking, but please be aware of the explanation they give on the use of the payment machine: i thought all the guys i sent there to stay were paying no attention, instead it's them who are not clear in the indication and the fines are taken during the night. So pay attention

This hotel is built as a prison, with tiny prison cells.
Functioning as a refugee hostel, but they dont tell you that when you book a room. The refugees are loud, they fill every trashbin in the hallways with big bags of garbage. The refugees hang outside the "hotel" at night, so if you are so lucky to get a room facing the parking lot, you can hear them screaming and laughing into the late night.
Its not possible to get fresh air in by opening the windov, since the windov is covered by plexi glas, and only a small strip in the plexi allow air in, and the air you get is smoke from the smoker booth placed directly below the window.
There is no place to put your suitcase and opening it.
We booked a captain room, and it was so small that the bed was pushed against the wall, making it impossible for two persons to enter it from each side.
Only positive was the clean bed sheets, and easy parking.
Stay away.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Perfect for what we needed.
The staff were all lovely, and hotel was very clean.
Lockers were available to leave bags at a small cost.
Although this was out of the city centre there is a metro/bus/train stop just 5 minutes away.
Also the Field shopping centre beside it was a great addition to have as well could pop in there for food.

No, they don’t have it readily available inside the room. You need to request for it and pay a deposit to get a hair dryer.
