Lovely hotel with great amenities. One person that made all the difference would be Alan from F&B. I called for room service and Alan answered the call. He was so cheerful and recommended the bacon burger which was one of the best burgers I had. He is such a warm hearted man who loves his job. Everyone should meet him at least once. He makes your day brighter.

Located in a new business and residential district; yet easily accessible for central Copenhagen and elsewhere in Denmark. The nearest station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You can take the Train or Metro which run every few minutes for the short (10 minute) ride into central Copenhagen, for the central and other stations.

Without exception every member of staff was friendly and genuinely 'can do' and helpful. Bedrooms simple and well maintained and comfortably fitted out in a Scandie style. Breakfast buffet is excellent and a late night burger from the 'Bark' bar and restaurant in the atrium was good. Minor gripe is that parts of the hotel are over heated and it can be stuffy, bedroom had no opening windows for fresh air.

The hotel is part of an office tower and all the better for it, as it shares a planted spacious atrium. It's just a 5 minute walk to a large shopping centre which has a good selection of restaurants for cheaper eats.

Would certainly stay here again, be it for business or leisure.

Stayed here for a night at copenhagen. Great hotel ambience and large size rooms offering all needed amenities. Very close to the airport and the hotel offers transfers at a minimal fee of 30Dk, and close to the metro makes a great location. Breakfast was good with decent options for veg and non veg too. Recommended to take rooms on the higher floors to get a great view of copenhagen both at night and day. ( 26 storied building )

Overall excellent service and excellent hotel.

I used to stay at Hilton CPH airport but since it was deflagged I have been looking for alternatives. The AC Hotel (Marriott) is so-so and with the upcoming improvement to the IHG loyalty program I tried Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers for the first time. My takeaway was that it’s not what Hilton used to be, but it beats AC in my opinion and I would return.

Crowne Plaza can be considered an airport hotel, sort of. It’s not that close to the airport, it used to have a shuttle bus (shared with AC Hotel) but it’s been suspended “due to covid” which is a poor excuse with all covid restrictions being lifted by now. Anyway the manager at CP told me that the shuttle bus probably won’t return until 2023 unfortunately. In the mean time the hotel is accessible via train; it’s only 2 stops away from the airport and is in a better location than AC Hotel because AC requires a train transfer for one more stop.

As IHG Diamond guest I was upgraded to a premium room which is 33 sqm (versus 28 sqm for the standard rooms), so that’s a hotel where an upgrade means something rather than simply “higher floor”.

The room itself was nice and recently redone and it felt a bit higher quality than the AC Hotel nearby. The bathroom had a stand-alone shower plus a bathtub rather than only one of them which was a plus and the bathroom also had heated floors. One negative about the room itself was that the toilet did not flush very well but otherwise I did not have any complaints and this was a solid room. Also I noticed housekeeping missed one mug which was quite dirty.

I was granted lounge access as Diamond where happy hour was available 6-9pm. Also, in anticipation to the new IHG loyalty program benefits which will be live soon, the hotel also gave me free breakfast as a Diamond benefit. The restaurant was very crowded and I found food to be as expected for a hotel of this caliber.

Especially at peak times with people checking out in the morning plus people coming and going to breakfast, the hotel elevator system was unworkable with the hotel full and only 3 out of 4 elevators operating. We were on a low floor and it was impossible to go down as the elevator was full every time. Eventually we succeeded by going up first before coming back down but even going up took quite some time because many people were heading up to their room after breakfast.

Overall Crowne Plaza was far from perfect but I found the value for the money reasonable. I would argue that with the improvement to the IHG loyalty program, CP has leapfrogged AC Hotel (Marriott) for elites of both loyalty programs. Personally upon returning to CPH I would probably pick CP before AC.

The hotel is well located for the airport (2 stops) and Copenhagen Central Station (1 stop), but in all honesty the area around the hotel is a bit glum with very little to do.

The reception staff were helpful and provided us with an upgraded room due to our IHG status. The executive lounge was shut due to manpower shortages so we were provided with a couple of drink passes for the bar.

Our premium room was large with minimalist decor, and included a large bath and shower. Quite bland but reasonably comfortable and clean.

The Bark restaurant was pretty good, but breakfast in the Storm Brasserie was a sorry affair. It was a very basic buffet which simply was not refreshed at all from 09:00 to 10:30 despite the 'chef' waltzing by on a couple of occasions. Likewise the gym was a bit small and cramped for a large hotel.

The hotel is located as it seems in a business district, but delivers to leisure travellers as ourselves, due to the convenient metro and train station right across the hotel. From the airport take the TRAIN and in just 7 mins you reach the hotel. To get to the city centre you can either take the train or the metro which runs 24/7. Station just across the street but noise is not an issue at all!

Upon arrival, Elena at the Front Desk made us feel welcome!

The room was nice, with power sockets next to both sides of the bed and usb charging ports available! Always in love with the spray provided for a good night's sleep (thisworks).
Would like to have hair conditioner instead of a mixure with the hair shampoo. Minor issue with the TV as we didn't manage to connect our devices with the TV.
Breakfast was really nice with everything we desired for! Liked the idea of prepacked fruit in glass bowls instead of plastic ones.. Green thinking!

All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Niels at the Front Desk.

Definitely recommended!

I fly for an airline, and we stay at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. I have to say that this hotel is pretty exceptional. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. Room service is of standout quality as it is prepared by the Bark Restaurant downstairs.

During this pandemic they are taking safety and health very seriously, which is good to see as it creates a sense of ease and well-being.

However what makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone from reception to the kitchen staff have been amazing.

I have to give a special mention to Alan (I didn't get his last name), one of the service staff who delivered my food to my room on a few occasions. He was always warm and friendly, and never failed to ask if there was anything else I needed during my stay. It's people like Alan who make the difference between a good and an outstanding stay.

5 stars, will definitely come back again!

Set in the impressive Copenhagen Towers, this Crowne Plaza has the normal features and fixtures, but it’s all a bit hollow and soulless. The staff are helpful and friendly in that calm way you expect in Denmark, but they can’t bring life to the place. E.g. the restaurant for breakfast feels like eating in the foyer, or the bar that feels like it’s in a public atrium.
Difficult to fault but also hard to recommend .

Stayed for 2 nights.
Location is about 5 metro stations (18min) to downtown Kongen. Nearest metro from hotel is a 8min walk. Quiet and good size rooms.
However, the AC is not too cold even at the coldest, not the most comfortable of sleeps.
One of the trainees, Mr Amar, opened the door to "check if I had checked out" when my spouse and I were in the room, on 5 May at 1130am. He claimed he knocked, we obviously did not hear. Best to be doubly sure before coming into any guest's room, and checking for checking out is not the most urgent task to barge in.

Checking out was awkward, with the receptionist folding her arms while talking to me. Also no porter service means if you are strong and fit like me, you would have to carry your 4 luggage up and down the room like I did :)

For the price I paid, and as a Gold IHG member, I would suggest to check out hotels elsewhere.

13:45 having just checked in i was in a bit of a rush as i needed to be elsewhere.
the checking process was ok, my room is also ok.
on my way out of the hotel, as my wife is joining me later in the afternoon, i asked at reception if they could arrange an ice bucket with a bottle of wine & some chocolates to be in the room for when my wife arrived 16:45
the receptionist could not have been less helpful
i was offered a 1/4 bottle of sparkling and a snickers bar!!!
i asked if it was possible to get a full bottle - to which the reply was we only have the small bottles
i was told if i wanted to i could go back to my room and look at the room service menu. they didnt have a copy of the room service menu in reception!!
i explained i was in a rush and could she arrange the request, she said the best i could do was go to the bar and try to arrange what i wanted there- some customer service this is
after explaining what i wanted to the bar person i believe it was going to be sorted with the response that the wine would be take up straight away - 3 hours before it was needed
so considering having only been in the hotel for less than 30 minutes the customer experience is not great and does not bode well for the rest of the stay
