rooms are absolutely not big but if you just need a place to sleep, its perfect. Bathroom is just a glasscage in the corner and it is not soundproof at all. Not ideal if you not are on your own. Place is clean all over.

I Have just arrived in the hotel, if it can be defined. To me it seems more like a supermarket dressed as hotel. I met both girls working the front desk for the two hotels in town and I was shocked. they either fall were unfriendly, rude and unwelcoming. The rooms are not ready before 15:00, but if the client...

I found this place by chance and what a great doscovery. Big budget hotel, very moderne and well located. Reception responds well and there's the opportunity of fast check-in, but I still prefer human contact. Check-out is just dropping your key into a sphere. They have a little"bar" st reception open 24 hours. Breakfast is 80 coronas (10€) and is...

As I was only in Copenhagen for 2 nights for Leicester's Champions League game against F C Copenhagen this was ideal, not really suitable for longer stays as storage space is very limited. Ideally situated for central Copenhagen. although some of the rooms tend to be noisy as you can hear the trains.

Went to stay there to see Copenhagen with my boyfriend. Very small room however me & my boyfriend are comfortable with each other so we didn't mind. Glass bathroom but it's not totally see through. Nice location. Close to the train station & Tivoli. Staff were very friendly though and kind.

Situated within walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli and Strøget this is a good and price competitive place to stay. The rooms are small with the bed up to the wall, a small writing desk, a very small coffee table, a coat rack and a couple of chairs. And naturally a TV on the wall. (How lucky we are...

I stayed at the Wakeup for 3 nights during a business trip to Copenhagen. Much as I loved the city and its people, my friend and I were appalled by the behaviour of the receptionists at the hotel. A summary of our experience: On the first day of our stay we went down to the reception to buy a cup...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
