For over 10 years we have been returning to Sonderho Kro at least 2-3 times per year. It has never failed to be exactly what we expect: Relaxing, peaceful and charming old inn with excellent food and cozy, characterful rooms. Our daily routines include: great breakfast, walk on the beach (summer or winter, rain or sun), lying in the sun...

A beautiful place to stay - charming old inn with cosy rooms, beautiful atmosphere and the most fantastic restaurant with gourmet food. Friendly service. Just perfect for a cosy (and romantic) weekend or vacation far away from a busy life ..

We have stayed at Sønedrho Kro on several occations over the last few years. The first time we stayed there our room was fresh and crisp clean. But the last time (summer of 2014), we found spiders and cobwebs everywhere. Spiders in different sizes were crawling in the ceiling, on the walls and in every nook and cranny. We spent...

Set in a charming area of old houses with thatched roofs, the Sonderho Kro (Inn) feels like travelling back in time (the Inn was built in 1722). Watch your head, for when this charming property was built, people were somewhat shorter than we are on average today. We have enjoyed the gourmet food and fine wines offered as a gourmet...

This hotel is extremely charming, built in the early 18th century. Tall people beware as doorways are very low! The rooms are pretty and cozy, the manager was accommodating when we requested to move to a quieter side of the building. With rental bikes (try a tandem!), one can easily access the wonderful, long beaches. Dinner was delicious, often with...

family lunch on a sunday. The food was okay / average. The service was not good. A young lady, tried her best, but was not competent. An older woman, very big and in normal clothes came to help with the service, and it was very poor. The price level is much to high.

Just spend the two nights with the family at Sonderho Kro. It was a fantastic experience for all of us. We had opted for a "mini" vacation and it turned out to be maxi. Our room was fantastic, phasing east towards the marshland. The other two rooms was equally great. The food and the service was exquisite and the attention...

We spent a fabulous weekend at sonderho kro. The rooms are beautiful. So cute. Thatched roof and shabby chic furnishings. Top quality. The location is as remote as is possible. Beautiful wide beaches and not much else. We had two fabulous meals in the evenings and gorgeous breakfasts in the mornings. The staff were friendly and helpful. Altogether a lovely...

This is simply a gem - we have stayed there twice and have had two very special occasions. Is is uniquely located on a small Island of the coast of Jutland in an old house in a small village close to the North Sea. The rooms are magnificent and all different and the food is simply amazing. It is NOT...

Stayed here for two nights together with my wife. The atmosphere of the Inn and the city of Sønderho is amazing. The rooms are old fashioned, but is in line with the place and there is very cozy. Breakfast was great, and dinner OK (dinner is not the best value for money). Would love to come back! We rented some...
