If you like mass tourism and do not mind being next to the runway of Billund airport, this is the place for you. Houses are beautiful and very clean. If you are located on the far side of the park, it will take you about 20 minutes walk to reach the central building where everything is located. There is no bike rental on the park. That means you have to drive to the central parking lot all the time, for which you have to pay an extra fee. If you are traveling with an electric vehicle: there are only 2 loading spots based at the central parking spot (only 3Kw). Information in English is very limited.
My family and I had a lovely staying in Lalandia. The idea of visiting Lalandia and staying in a cabin for a few days was for us to spend time together as a family and relax after so many months of lockdown in a new country and we did that. Everything was exceptional, the activities, the restaurants and the cabin. We had something different to do all day, everyday. However the beds were really uncomfortable and the idea of receiving an invoice for hot water, water and electricity after our staying was something that we are not used to, but a little extra money to be considered when booking your staying.
At entrance it is specified that you can enter only once during the day + you are not allowed to bring food/drinks from outside, but guess what, once inside you get to find out they have no food for vegans, so what now ?! I've been eating french friees for the next 7 hours - mega thumbs down for that. Then during the day we bought a lalandia ball to play during the stay and after we played for aprox 2 hours only, on our way out, my gf been stoped by one of lalandia's employee, saying that the bals belongs to Lalandia, we claim that we paid for the ball 50 kr, than he asked her if she is sure... like she would lie, like she is a tief. Rasism place, if this discution would have take place in danish, that employee on his name Rasmus, wouln't claim she would have lied. Do not recommend this racism place. Ahh one more, in the era of technology, you cannot pay with mobilepay, dankort, apple pay, nothing than just a credit card. Such an old and full of racism place.…
We got stopped by staff in the change room and told that we need to buy a special swimming pants for my baby daughter even though she was wearing swimming diapers. They had light pink and light blue and costed 120 danish crowns. After we bought some and went in, we found out the pools were cold and that the staff was very random about which babies need their special swimming pants.
Overall the resort would get 5 stars it was clean friendly and easy to use even though we only speak English. My only complaint would be some of the food was not very nice and quite overpriced also some of the drinks are expensive but we found this was the whole of denmark not just lalandia. I also fell there was a little understaffed but this may have been due to social distancing, also I few of the restaurant where we wanted to eat were closed
