I travel in Aarhus pretty often, and despite there also nice, new and modern hotels in the city center, I always prefer to choose the Marselis. The staff is kind and the view itself deserve the stay. They have renovated the fitness room and this was a very good surprise for me! The previous equipments were pretty aged. The only...

We loved our stay in room 260. Spectacular view of the harbor. Very clean. Pleasant staff. Large delicious breakfast. My husband loved the sauna and pool. He also found business center very useful. The large plate glass window allowed beautiful views all during the day of the ever changing harbor.

Location, location, location........ lovely seaside view, close to city center and with attractive 1300 ha (3.200 acres) 7 km seafront forrest with old beach trees next door, so its a jogging enthusiasts dream. Granted, the hotel is not up to date and has a somewhat timewarped decor but so has for instance Marriott Copenhagen. With the right mindset you will...

I was there for a fast business trip. The hotel is nice, perfectly adequate. The staff was friendly, somehow lacking in organization. The bedroom was fine if a bit dated. Cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast was fine. Easily recommended.

This hotel has a nice beach-side location just outside Aarhus, with a great forest nearby. It does feel very 90s however with a strange mix of modern architecture and old furniture. There's a smell of school canteen kitchen in the corridors. The buffet breakfast is average for Scandinavia, bread selection is great but no smoked salmon, poor coffee and juices...

The hotel has nice location on the beach and offers possibility for long walks and a swim. Although on the outskirts of the city, it's well connected by bus. Rooms are shabby, no minibar or possibility to brew a cup of coffee or tea in the room. Awful pillows. My room was on the ground floor with large sliding windows....

The Marselis was a great place to stay for a couple of nights while travelling in Aarhus. It is only about 2 km to the city center and very easy to access either by car or bus. I don't think I ever saw a taxi in Aarhus but I'm sure they exist. The room was very nicely decorated with comfy...

Situated right on the beach, the location of this hotel could not be better. It's only a few minutes drive from Aarhus city centre and there is a lovely beach and beautiful forest right next to the hotel. Rooms are fine and clean, pool area a little small (but still nice) and staff is very friendly.

The hotel is not far from Aarhus city center. It is almost walkable distance. The hotel lies on the beach and has the perfect view (sunsets). Beach is with small pebbles. The hotel is equipped with a small pool and sauna. I recommend that. Equipment of rooms is the little bit older but ok. Breakfast standard.

We were a bit worried after reading some of the reviews here...With some rooms in an annex overlooking the parking lot and others complaining about excessive noise. As far as we are concerned, our one night at the hotel was a smooth and pleasant experience. The hotel is fairly easy to find, and is surrounded with beautiful scenic walkways and...
