We stayed here one night to see the archaeological site at Olympia. We found a very nice hotel in a very quiet neighborhood. The family room we had was very nice and the jacuzzi tub that came with it turned out to be a huge succes with our kids. Breakfast was nice to, served in a restaurant with great views....

This is a family run property in Old Pissa just outside of Olimpia. Not that far away from the tourist features. True to what is stipulated in literature check-in appears only to occur after 2.00pm. The process was brief and friendly and our room comfortable. It had a small bacony overlooking olive fields. Our room was clean, comfortable and had...

Bacchus is located about 5km from Olympia and the archaelogical sites. It is a family run hotel in a small village (interesting to walk around and see real Greek rural life). The rooms are large and comfortable. Good value for money (particularly if travelling with a family).

Stayed one night to see Olympia. Followed Rick Steves recommendation and stayed out of tourist area at Bacchus. After driving 3 1/2 hours from Delphi we were hoping to just stay put for the night and eat at the recommended restaurant at the hotel. We were surprised to find that the restaurant was not going to open, on a Friday...

Spacious room, clean and charming restaurant with fireplace on ground floor. Not walking distance to Ancient Olympic site but on quiet street only a brief driving distance. Seasonal pool and good value for the money.

The hotel is short distance from town. It is a small hotel with good service. It is family owned and the family lives across the street. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The room was small but adequate. We got a room with a Jacuzzi which was part of the attraction for us staying there. Breakfast was good; however, we had...

Very warm environment. Very nice and kind people. Excellent quality of food and tasteful. Good representative of the traditional Greek cuisine as evolved through the years. The service was fast. The nature around the tavern is relaxing. Having visited the place both during summer and winter i strongly suggest it. All these years this place stands as solid and safe...

My sister and I stayed one night at Bacchus in a suite across the street from the main building. I'm not sure what the hotel rooms are like in the main pension, but the suite was very spacious, although a bit dark and outdated. The suite had a large room with three beds, a separate kitchenette area and bathroom. The...

On the minus side, the place looks nothing like the photos. And it is located in a depressing village a few miles from Olympia. On the plus side, the staff could not be more helpful. The dining room has a lovely roaring fire (at least in November - hopefully not in mid summer!) And the food (and wine!) was really...

The room itself was fine. Bed maybe too soft, but that depends on what you like/ are used to. But the bathroom looked much better in the pictures. There was a huge jacuzzi shower in a tiny bathroom, so there was not much room left for anything else. Unless you have arms growing from your back, it was difficult to...
