Nikolas was very accommodating. The hotel we planned on staying at in late August was booked up so the manager called Nikolas at the hercules hotel and he came and picked us up and took us to hercules. Very nice guy. Rooms are a great value with great air conditioning. Don't expect outstanding rooms but they do the job and... More

Travelled with friends and stayed at this hotel for a night. Cosy and value for money. It's close to a low priced family owned restaurant around the corner. Nikolas and his wife were helpful , directing us to low priced but good eateries and Nikolas even makes fresh orange juice for breakfast. Wifi works better in the lobby though and... More

We had a last minute change of plans and arrived at the hotel one day early, with no clean clothes and having just driver for 8 hours! The owner found us a room quickly and checked us in, then helped us get our laundry done the next day. The breakfast was wonderful, and he freshly squeezed the orange juice while... More

The hotel was continently located close to the archaeological site. It was also quite close to the bus stop. We travelled by bus from Athens to Olympia and took the bus from Olympia to Delphi, so this was helpful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had a great stay at Hotel Hercules which provides very good value for money. Do not expect luxury, but the rooms were clean and comfortable with great air conditioning. Nikolas was very friendly and helpful - anything we asked for was provided. Breakfast was basic but lovely and fresh - boiled egg, fresh bread, greek yoghurt, madeira cake and... More

Reviews on Tripadvisor were quite good and from the outside the hotel looks modern: we were therefore disappointed to find that the rooms were dated, service was tired and breakfast was below average (although the freshly squeezed orange juice was great). What was worse was quite a strong urine smell coming from the bathroom. Not all bad though: the hotel... More

The hotel is very centrally located in Olympia but unlike most of the other hotels in town there are no signs that we could see for it. The man at the front desk spoke sufficient english and was friendly and our stay was hastle free. All the restaurants and bars in town are a very short walk away and the... More

This is a friendly family-run hotel. It's small, and feels more like a B&B. The room was comfortable, and had a nice big sunny private balcony. Location is perfect for seeing the town and all museum sights (much much better than the Best Western, which is located WAY up the hill away from the town). For the money it is... More

Of all the places my wife and I stayed during our 12 nights in Greece, this was surely one of the best. The room was tiny and surface cleaned, but this was a given since they were undergoing construction. Otherwise, the owner, Nicolas, was extremely pleasant and made sure our needs were taken care of. He personally served us a... More

The Hercules Hotel in Olympia, Greece, was an excellent experience - A home away from home. The room was comfortable with aircon. The Greek breakfast was DELICIOUS and a lovely surprise. The lobby and the dining area were spacious and welcoming. “They will accommodate your needs. We were asked many times if our room was okay. He said he put us in a quiet room, but I think most would be quiet in this town. For better wifi ask for a room near the entrance.”
