Hotel is situated near the National park, wihth lot's of green. Rooms are in mdern style bungalows, with up to date furniture. We had junior suite, with two bedrooms, two balkonies and one batgroom. The beds were confortable. There are two pools and one aqia-park with 3 slides and fun area for small kids. There is also a children playground suraunded by pine trees. A mini club and mini disco with animators are also the part of the great atmosphere. The food was amazing! All inclusive service includes the 3 meals with rich menu, soft drin ks, water, wine and bier. Between meals You can eat snaks, caffee, tea, soft drink and greek alchoholic drinks for free. The beach is sandy thea sea is vary clean. Beach beds and umbrellas are free for the hotel guests. You can rent pedals, boats and similar for watersports. There is also grounds for basketball, tennis and futball in the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel,,especially for families…
I’ve been spending a week or so with my family staying in Kalogria Beach Hotel & Bungalows for many years since 2012. The place has been renovated in 2016 and frankly it’s been changed radically! A beautiful place to be, with pools and a wonderful, lacy beach as well. The inclusive package is very competitive, since the food is excellent and you can constantly have your glass refilled with alcohol & beverages. The place is clean and neat, and there are events held almost every night. The hotel is ideal for families with infants and small children, but also for couples that want to spend some quality time together. The prices are reasonable, and the value for money you get is the higher possible. The only disadvantage is the mosquitoes at night, but an insect repellent spray can very much do the job!…
The hotel Kalogria is very nice...all the rooms are after reconstruction, there are two pavilions ... Smaller hotel and bungalows. The smaller hotel is further away from the beach, but it doesn't matter at all, because the way to the beach is through a beautiful garden. The smaller hotel has own swimming pool and a bar open until 18 o'clock All inclusive is very tasty and rich This hotel does not have a beach bar The beach is beautiful and clean The sea is very hot and crystal clear There are water sports for a cash fee The animation team is great. The hotel is also a great choice for children
The hotel is on a perfect location. The Kalogria beach has a blue flag and is sandy! It was the only reason why we went in this hotel. The hotel is good if you get a fully renovated room and a total disaster if you get an old one. The management is ready for a change! They run the hotel with 0 customer care. The good rooms go only to guests from Slovakia and if you are greek and a friend of someone from the management you will get a good room. All other get the horrible rooms that a sanitary inspection should close! We got a horrible room, since we were not from Slovakia. But after serious arguments the room was changed into an old one but very clean and not falling apart. The whole process was a nightmare. So, if you go there make sure you get yourself in the Kalogria boutique hotel or the fully renovated bungalows. The food is ok. It is an AI hotel, perfect for families with kids. There are no restrictions on food - you can take away food, take in your room, to the beach. The hotel is very clean. The stuff that works there are really good workers. Make sure to bring a lot of anti mosquito spray. As the night comes out so do the mosquitos. Esspecially at the beach. The sunset is just amazing! …
Excellent entertainement for young children, a fantastic team with young and very creative animateurs, specialy VERONIKA! Sport activities, theater, dancing all night long. Excellent food, very helpfull and gentle stuff, the barmen and barwomen are exceptional! My 10 year old son loves this place and people there. It was the 4th time we chose this club for summer vacations!
We chose to stay at this hotel for a weekend and left wishing we had stayed a week. After having turned off the highway and heading in the direction of the hotel, we were surprised by the beauty of the location. Mountains, marshes covered with burgundy colored wild flowers, grazing cows and a lovely pine tree forest. The hotel complex is quite big and consists of 2 two story buildings, small in size, which offer rooms on each floor accessible by stairs. The rest of the accommodation is a large variety of bungalows, each offering its own grassy yard and trees. I suspect that some bungalows have rooms on upper floors as well. Our main building room was fairly comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the grassy grounds and pine forest. The color scheme was white and turquoise, giving an island feel but the walls were in need of some more paint as you could see the previous wall designs through the one coat paint. Small functional bathroom with stand up shower and shower curtain. Good closet space, vanity desk, TV and air conditioning that only will only work when the balcony sliding window/door is closed. The only real problem we had with the room was the very hard mattresses. The rest of the hotel consists of one large dining room, large game room offering a couple of arcade games and a pool table, 2 comfortable sized swimming pools, 1 pool bar, 1 tennis court, basket ball court, small children's play ground with a small pool, mini golf and an amphitheater, and gift shop that has some really nice swim wraps and beach dresses. All meals are buffet (self service) and nicely prepared. They offered a pretty good variety of meals. The hotel originally caters to German and French groups but is now also accepting individual travelers. There are live animation programs especially created for each group, in their language, but anyone is allowed to watch The second swimming pool is on the edge of the hotel premises and has 2 exit gates that lead on to a bridge that crosses a small river which separates the hotel premises from the sandy beach. The beach is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Miles and miles of golden sand. Each bridge exits onto a boardwalk that leads to the sea and beach bar. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was that they allow pets and we were able to bring our dog. We did however have a problem on the first day with the dining situation. Breakfast is served in the indoor dining room but lunch and dinner is served beside the pool. A sudden rain shower on our first day, forced them to serve lunch and dinner inside and were not allowed to take the dog with us. We took turns having lunch and had dinner at one of the 2 taverns which are a couple of minute walk from the hotel. The rest of the time we had our meals by the pool. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for some real relaxation. No driving in the heat to go to the beach, no lugging beach bags and all the usual junk. Just step out of your room in your bathing suite and towel and have a blast.…
