Stayed here numerous times, it's pretty basic but all you need, the views and location is superb, with I think the best taverna on the island opposite along with the crystal clear waters also a stones throw away you can't go wrong here if your looking for a quiet get away with Greek charm, the location is very central too...

This is more of a bed and breakfast place rather than a hotel. The breakfast is a bit confusing toast, boiled eggs, cake, pies amd pitza. The hotel has 3 bars but are not open or usef. Nikkie and her staff are great and very helpfull. Anyone one with walking difficulties the road up is steep and uneven. The hotel...

I adore this family run hotel, it is my favourite place to visit. Breakfast is great, lunch is really good especially the club sandwich... Then off to fior d'amore for drinks before dinner at the amazing local restaurants. I enjoy the pool and the stone beach nearby. If you're looking for somewhere to chill by the pool and sit on...

Just back from a wonderful holiday in Kefalonia. On arrival at the Gonatas we received a very warm welcome from Nikki and her family. The room was as expected - basic and clean. The sea view room I had booked was a bit of a stretch of the imagination and the furniture on the patio was too uncomfortable to sit...

Just returned back from our first stay in Cephalonia. It was great. The hotel Gonatas is situated in a wonderful location overlooking the Ionian Sea and just a few minutes walk from the lovely town of Agia Efimia. Nicky and her staff gave us a lovely welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We tried several restaurants but...

I can't believe I forgot to post a review, we stayed here for a fortnight in June/July. If I said it took 3 days here to decide to book next years holiday at the same place, that should give you an idea of how much we loved the place. We only met one other couple who were first timers here...

We were greeted by Niki, who remembered us from two years ago! This year we were in room number 23, which overlooks both the pool and across the bay to Sami! The views are just fabulous! All the staff are so friendly and always find time to make all the guests feel at home - nothing is too much trouble!...
