We stayed one week at the hotel. The people who run the hotel are superfriendly and very kind. They provide any information for the island, free chairs and umbrella for the beach as well as car reservation. Free transport from and to the port or airport. Very clean and the rooms are new. The breakfast was everyday different with many...

Very good place to stay. Very welcoming. Nothing too much trouble for our hosts who were attentive rather than intrusive. Very clean. Wonderful room. Spacious terrace. Amazing view. Really couldn’t have enjoyed the stay more than we did. Possibly a mattress topper to make the bed softer for “slim” people like me…Great breakfast, fresh bread and the wonderful local honey.

We came here running and screaming from a work crisis but soon relaxed with the help of Maria, Manos, Michalis and the other Maria. They all helped make our stay very special - thank you! We enjoyed our double room on the top floor with large terrace and hot tub (though this was at times unbearably hot!) and the seating...

A modern, beautiful, spacious and clean room, bathroom and balcony, comfortable beds, magnificent view of the sea and the castle, only a few steps from Chora's centre, homemade breakfast (with some different dishes every day), value for money price, very polite service and an obliging owner.... On an authentic little Greek island.... What's more to ask?..... - Thank you, Michalis.

Just spent 8 nights at this boutique hotel. Extremely impressive. Impossible to fault accommodation, staff, view or breakfast. Best Greek shower ever! Astypalaia is an island not to be missed, even if getting there is more difficult than most. Stay at the Palace!

This hotel is great. They picked us up in the middle of the night from the port late at night and brought us back to the hotel. Everyone that works there was really nice, and they recommended some nice places to go around the island. Our room was larger than I thought it would be; it had enough room for...

We stayed here for the first time on June 2014. We found it so relaxing we went back this September. We plan on going back next year and it's very rare for us to go back somewhere twice never mind three times in a row. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The...

Hotel is run by really lovely people. View is gorgeous - can't beat the sunrise! Location is great for exploring Chora and the restaurants and bars near the windmills. Breakfasts are excellent and varied - just a shame we didn't have portakalis pita every day! Very clean and spacious rooms for the price with plenty of room for clothes, toiletries...
