If you are looking for low budget accomodation, clean room and public areas, nice location-close to the center- for sightseeing, easy parking but definately not luxury - since the hotel is old and outdated- then its the right choice.

Rethymno is not typical city near the sea. This city is like Verona, and beach is far away from everywhere. I recommend Baja Beach, which is 10min from this hotel and it is cheaper compare to the city beach which is very dirty, but Baja Beach is very luxury beach. Hotel is okey, nothing special, but okey. Food si good.... More

Room 103 is not recommended. We arrived close to midnight on a Thursday night. A basketball coaching session was directly opposite the window and went on past 1am. Traffic was loud and prolific. The drain in the bathroom registers other users' sounds and stench as the 'water' passes by beneath. On the positive side breakfast is good and the breakfast... More

Lovely staff, convenient position, great value for money. That is why we keep returning. Rooms are not luxurious but quite adequate for what we want as a base. Linen and towels changed regularly. Rooms cleaned each day - although a bit heavy on the bleach when washing the floors! Breakfast plentiful. Whats not to like?

My humble opinion is that you should use this hotel only if you don't find anything else , the only positive about it is the central location it has , it is a very old hotel that needs serious renovations if they want to get better .... The rooms were barely clean and noisy .

You're just a short stroll to the old town and Venetian harbour. This hotel is very good value, extremely clean and well-managed. When I visited in June, some work was in progress to improve the rooftop bar, which necessitated the temporary closure of that facility. I requested an upgrade to a balcony room and got one without additional charge next... More

The hotel is located near the old town and not far away from the beach which is great. Room is a bit outdated but clean and nice. The room cleaners do a good job. It is quite noisy in the hotel side that is located next to the bigger street so you can't sleep with the balcony door open. Breakfast... More
