The dramatic views of the Venetian fortress at the old city harbor of Heraklion, and the wonder-filled waves of the Cretan Sea, are among the most photographed tourist attractions on Crete island. Not many visitors can enjoy the full panoramic grandeur of these contemplative landscapes, the way our guests at Lato Boutique Hotel can.Standing for more than 35 years above the marina, our hotel operates 365 days a year without interruptions. Famous for authentic Cretan hospitality, Lato Boutique Hotel is the most welcoming establishment in this part of the city, a magnet for romantic couples, but also for families, and business travelers. Being at the center of the old Heraklion town, the peaceful and colorful central market is only a few steps away. The museums, the Venetian harbor with the fishing boats and the yacht marina, the parks, the gardens, the city cafes and all ancient Heraklion lays at the foot of our front doorstep, your front doorstep.

We chose this hotel for our first night in Crete, as we were arriving late-ish on ferry from Santorini, and too late to get rental car. It turned out to be an excellent choice, and was very easy to find as the large illuminated sign was clearly visible from the ferry port!!!

The electrical outlets are just European. We have adaptors that cover all continents. I do know about laundry as this was our first stop on our holiday in Greece. The hotel staff were very helpful so I am sure they could tell you.

Not that I know of, but staff were able to direct me to other places that were available, and as I recall, there was a stocked fridge with soft drinks and beer / wine in the room. Sorry for the late response.

There is a red double decker bus for tourists. It has a guided tour with stops at all the tour sites and museums. You can get on/off at any or all sites over two days. It’s a great way to explore Crete

I am not sure. We did not use the laundry service. You could email them and they should provide an answer promptly.
