Located about 30 minute walk from centre of elounda this hotel is in a nice quiet location. It is clean and comfortable and staff are all pleasant and helpful. We booked a sea view and that is not what we got! We had a really large room however but asked to be moved to a sea view room. The room...

Very nice hotel, friendly reception staff, pool bar staff - it's much a shame the pool bar food is not the same quality as the evening buffet food. The rooms are very clean well presented, nice view of the sea as requested. Please be warned I wouldn't recommend that you book half board here, as above the evening buffet is...

Just had an excellent week here with my niece. The pool and sun lounger area are lovely, never too busy even when most of the beds were taken. Yes some people always put towels on and then disappear but we never had a problem getting somewhere to relax. The hotel will provide big yellow towels if you ask. The bar...

Visited for a week mid October and stayed half board. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Lovely setting. Pay the extra for a sea view - great to wake up looking out on beautiful views of the bay. Staff so friendly and helpful. Great pool and sun lounging area - never overly busy. Food was of a good standard - good variety...

We visited mid September, perfect location. We had a sea view bungalow which gets the sun rise on the balcony and a patio area for the afternoon sun. Pool was never over busy with plenty of lounges. The pool snack bar served lovely lunches under the Carob tree. Elounda is a half hour walk downhill advise taxi back. From the...

Had 10 days here and can't fault any of it. Emailed ahead to request mattress topper and first floor room, both requests met. Loved their little beach, you must get a mask and snorkel, lots of fish, crabs and octopus to see and you can swim round to the other hotels beaches nearby. Would recommend a jeep, went up in...

Elounda Ilion is an amazing hotel and a great place to stay . Very clean and well maintained. Rooms good but bungalow in Greece does not mean single storey ! Views from rooms breath taking . You need to be fit to stay here as on steep hill . Lots of steps to all areas. Should have sign to say...

The hotel was average, the staff were all friendly The food was good, but there was nothing to do in the evening unless you went 2km down an unlit road with no pavements, down hill all the way, and climbed back up the very steep hill to the hotel only to have to climb up the driveway, another steep hill. The...
