This was our 2nd time at the Amphora. Well located near the Old Venetian Harbor with great views and well located for walking to shopping and dining. Do not miss the discounted dining at the hotel's restaurant. Parking can be challenge - even if arriving...More
Located right on the Old Venetian Harbor, just a cool and charming place to stay. Great views of the harbor from your balcony or the rooftop terrace. Delicious continental breakfast too, but mostly it's the staff that makes this place a great choice, especially our...More
If your planning on getting lost in the Venetian Harbour of Chania, you can’t go past Amphora.
Magnicent balcony views, helpful & friendly staff and an accompanying rest. downstairs with an excellent menu. Breakfast setting and menu is absolutely delightful.

Hello and thank you for your interest. This hotel is a renovated 13th century building, and as such has 7 rooms at ground level, 9 on the 1st level, and the balance on the 3rd and 4th floors. There is an excellent balcony room on the 1st floor (Room 11) with only 1 set of stairs to contend with, the balcony overlooks the harbor and has a shower and a queen size bed. If you like, there is a suite with no stairs involved (Room 6), also with a fabulous balcony directly on the port with a magnificent 4-poster bed and bath instead of shower. I urge you to contact the hotel directly for more information. Hope this answers your question, and hope to see you soon in person!
