From the minute you start to walk from Tallos Square to Casa Leone you know you are visiting somewhere special. The alleyways to the hotel are a delight. From arrival to departure we were made extremely welcome. Nikos and Anna the owners have a wealth of information on not just the hotel but Chania and Crete itself, spanning the decades,... More

Best view in old town. Old mansion that is now operating as hotel. Loved the breakfast served in the lobby with a breathtaking views of the venetian harbour 4* service, friendly staff. The entrance is not from the harbour side. You have to walk in an alley in the back, so keep in mind when searching the entrance

Just spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel;an architectural gem with modern facilities, the history of the building is very interesting. From first setting foot in the place we were made to feel welcome by the owners who were waiting for us to arrive. Our room (No2) overlooked the old harbour and had been cleverly designed with the comfy double... More

The hotel which is a converted Venetian Villa was just amazing. So intimate and so much character overlooking the old harbour. We spent a lot of our time sitting out on our balcony enjoying our breakfast or wine watching the activity of the harbour. The locations is perfect and the staff were so warm and friendly. We really hated to... More

Beautifully situated overlooking the old harbour. Delightful rooms but would advise the honeymoon room with the balcony overlooking the harbour. Everyone there were very welcoming and made us feel at home . Beautiful breakfasts .

The owners (Nikos & Anna) and the staff (Calliopie & Maria) were amazing, they were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They made our stay more memorable. The hotel was small and homely, with beautiful, traditionaldecor and large high ceiling rooms. Easy room individual in in its own style. One of the best things about this... More

Got put in the most beautiful room upstairs with a private balcony overlooking the sea and light tower -- at night with a view of the full moon over the harbour area and stars up top with candle lights in the balcony. Our host Nicholas and all the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. We had the honey moon suite which had the most wonderful sun deck, with fabulous views over the harbour.
