This is a superb hotel, superbly managed. Public spaces and rooms are beautifully designed, none more so than the tranquil courtyard where breakfast is served (home grown and delicious). The hotel is constructed from a Venetian and an Ottoman house combined, thoroughly modern and yet still possessing period charm. There's a lovely roof terrace with stunning views of the harbour....

My husband and I stayed here on the recommendation of friends from Washington, DC. From the moment we were picked up at the parking lot (no cars allowed in Chania old town) to the moment we checked out, every detail was looked after. Margarita, the fabulous manager and overseer of everything, took good care of us. She weeded out the...

I think this boutique hotel is family owned & run. Mother cooks sensational breakfasts with a wide range of divine fresh savouries & sweets - spinach & cheese pies fresh hot from the oven each morning, eggs & omelette any way cooked to order. Beautiful chocolate nougat & many more. Excellent raw muesli & fresh fruit salad too. Daughter leads...

Casa Delfino is a beautifully restored 17th Century Mansion which has been restored with love and care. Not only we were staying at a beautiful hotel, in a great location with beautiful rooftop views of the old Venetian harbour but the service was second to none. The staff could not do enough for you from recommending day trips, restaurants, beaches,...

We had been told that the only way to really experience Chania is by staying in the old Venetian harbour and walking its streets. Casa Delfino put us in the perfect location to do just that in well cared for luxury. From the moment we stepped in the door & received a lovely refreshing towel, Margarita and staff took care...

We stayed in a one bedroom suite and found it spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished. The room had a small balcony overlooking the street. The hotel offers a lovely buffet breakfast that we enjoyed each morning. The location of this hotel cannot be beat - it was very easy to walk to Chania Harbor, and there were many restaurants and...

The only one in Chania. Inside the old town. We had a lovely time. Very clean room, breakfast is very nice, friendly staff and always willing to help and serve. Definitely will visit again. Strongly suggested if you want a hotel in Chania even during winter.

In one word : perfect. We were bowled over by the way the Mantheakis Family has restored the old glory to their historic home and the amazing hospitality of all their staff. They made our visit to Crete so memorable. Our interaction with Margarita Mantheakis was outstanding along with all her staff. For me, service recovery matters much. When the...

We have just returned from staying here for a week. Overall we would rate Casa Delfino as excellent and well worth staying due to the location, staff and accommodation. The building itself is impressive, welcoming and characterful. Pros: food at breakfast was the best I have had in Greece, lots of choice, helpful staff, great surroundings and the offer of...
