Beautiful hotel, lovely room (albeit a little cosy!) and great location. Very helpful friendly staff. Room beautifully clean Had an issue with the room initally as we'd booked a sea view room but had only partial sea view due to trees and bushes. The staff on reception contacted us, and handled it well. Resolved. Located 20 mins walk into Ag Nik centre. Close to other local bars and beach restaurants. Would stay again
I consider myself a well travelled person, visiting many continents and amazing hotels, but I honestly consider this one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything from the staff, to the location, to the food was absolutely incredible. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as it could be. The views are simply breathtaking and it was a welcome break given the current climate. Would happily come back anytime. Thanks for an amazing stay Minos.
Valedinia and Maria at the Aegeo spa we’re absolutely fantastic! Best massage I have had. The hotel it self is absolutely stunning and would totally recommend for a nice romantic break, the food is brilliant also brilliant in the town (ask for recommendations) All in all a brilliant stay all Sorted by Sean at travel four seasons.
I had a lovely facial and massage with Maria. She was incredibly warm and friendly--her care and professionalism left me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed! I would highly recommend to anyone staying at the hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel inspired by Greek mythology. The concept of Minos’s labyrinth really appealed to us, as did the works of art scattered throughout the gardens. The location is ideal, a 15 minute walk from the center of Agios Nikolaos along the seafront. There is a small mini market right in front of the hotel if needed and many restaurants within walking distance. Regarding the room, after spending a little time looking for the ideal room we opted for a "seafront bungalow", which was renovated, with a terrace overlooking the beach as well as the gardens. The opposite was almost non-existent. For those who hesitate, I don't think that the “waterfront” bungalow (the range above) is essential as the proximity to the sea is immediate, but it really depends on your budget. The most important thing in my opinion is to get a renovated bungalow because, having visited a non-renovated one, I can tell you that the difference in standard is considerable! In terms of swimming, we have always had free deckchairs and umbrellas. The employees of the pool bar come by regularly to see if we need anything, all in a very discreet and friendly manner (thanks again to Dimitri for his kindness!) It is also possible to order a wide variety of drinks directly through the hotel app. Likewise, you can book the gym on the app. My partner and I did not understand this info from the start, we went there regularly without reservations because the room is only rarely used. There is also a room designed for working, reading or even playing the piano if you feel like it. Very useful for printing a document or just relaxing in the cool. Finally, in terms of services and restaurants, special mention to the award-winning restaurant "La bouillabaisse", a real treat. Note that we ate little outside the hotel as the restaurants on site were so good and the setting elegant! Special mention also to the Spa team Ananea, Maria, Irene and Dinos. You can go there with your eyes closed! The only downside is that we would like to go there every day because the care is so good! Thanks again to Maria for her cheerfulness and for her great advice!…
