Hotel Acropole Delphi was right in town, walkable to many restaurants and shops. The lobby was charming. My room was clean, small, but had no view (single room). It was reasonably comfortable for a one-night stay. The breakfast buffet was good.
Small, nothing of note, old..good location though, some rooms have valley view, nice balconies in rooms, but the crappy beer selection tells you don't even try, just like everywhere else in town. Cheap enough, it will do for a night in Delphi. I doubt any place in this touristy dump of a village is much better/different. Very disappointed in the Delphi village experience, as crappy as Greece can get.
We were here as part of our tour of Greece and it was good. We were lucky to get a room with a view across the valley - amazing. The welcome was friendly and the rooms are comfortable and have what you need. The breakfast was plentiful - an enjoyable stay.
This was very handy for quick access to the Delphi site first thing in the morning before the majority of other tours arrived. The view from our room was SPECTACULAR! It was basic but clean and comfortable. As it is on the side of a steep mountain the lift has to be explained!! The floors are not where you might expect. Not a problem. Quirky!
Good location for visiting the archaeological sites and very close to the main street in Delphi. Absolutely breathtaking view from the room. The hotel is quite run down and in need of a good lick of paint if not more. Staff actively trying to push some taverna that looked rather suspicious and devoid of patrons as a great dinner place. Based on previous experiences in Greece we avoided that. Average breakfast. Difficult parking.
