Good hotel in convinient place, from here can by walk reach many intresting places. Good rooms, not to big but clean and with balcony. Nice restorant. Not to bidmenu but for couple of days quite enough.
If needing to stay in Piraeus for any reason, this is a good choice to stay. Easy access to airport and port, the hotel is big and close to lots of nice places to eat and stroll. Pharmacy is right across the street in case...More
A bit down at heel but the price is right. Our dinner was delicious. But most importantly: the staff is extraordinarily friendly - could not be more happy to help and offer suggestions for travel and sightseeing. There's good a/c and wifi. The straight shot...More

We stayed in savoy for only 1 night while our return from Mykonos. The main point of this hotel is its location. It's on one of the busy roads which also has very good shopping options and is also near to the piraeus port.

Booked George's Taxi for transfers to/from the Savoy hotel and airport. BUT during the stay discovered that the subway system is within a very short cab ride from the hotel. The trains go right to the airport and shopping areas. The only consideration is luggage. We had one carryon backpack each so we were very mobile. It was easy breezy. My only caution when taking public transport is to get directions. know the name of your stop. I found that often the stops went by 2 names. The folks at the terminals are VERY friendly and VERY helpful with this information. Inside of the train cars you will find a map with a light that illuminates for each city as you approach. Nothing to be nervous about jump in! Oh and if you are going to the Acropolis and/or Museum you can do this by subway as well. FAR cheaper than cabs. It takes a bit longer but it's a great way to see how the locals live.
