Hotel Vienna situated on Pireos 20, Athina 104 31. If you use google maps or Waze you can also search for Tsaldari 20 and it will give you the same location. Reaching it From Athens Airport you get on the blue line(3) and stop at Syntagma Square station. From there you get on the red line(2) towards Anthoupoli and get...

A very convenient and affordable place to stay in central Athens. Close to main touristic hotspots. Staff is quite friendly and gave us useful tips regarding places to visit, routes, restaurants, etc. Highly recomendable!

I stayed at your hotel from 15th March to 20th March 2017. As I left the hotel in 20th March I packed my things open at home and remembered I had left my watch and bracelet in the nightstand drawer. I immediately contacted the hotel and did no get a very adequate response to the situation. Despite various discussions with...

We are totally disappointed about your review! Our hotel is a family business since March of 1970. In these 47 years there was NEVER a missing item from a guest and nobody from our staff was accused for stealing! Our maids and the rest of our staff works with us more than 10 years and is absolutely trustful! We strongly...

We booked into this hotel for 6 nights. It is basic but really good value for money at €40 per night considering we were in the centre of Athens, the rooms are very clean and maintained every day. The thing that truly sets this place apart are the family that own it and the very helpful and polite staff. We...

The room was clean (every day cleaning) although the smell in the room didn't show that If you came to Athens only to rest at night and relax this hotel is not the appropriate one because it is located on one of the busiest streets in Athens and the noise is quite loud Nice view of the Pireos street A...

A clean, decent, budget hotel with helpful, friendly staff. The hotel is only few minutes away from Omonia Square metro stop. The area is fine in the day time, but not an area to walk alone late at night.

We stayed here 2 nights on way to Mykonos. We chose this place due to its location as we were using public transport from airport and again metro to Piraeus. The hotel is great for a budget hotel. The room was surprisingly big with little balcony - yes the bathrooms are a little on the small side but this hotel...

We were here for two nights at the end of our holiday. The surrounding area is a bit run down - but perfect safe - if you follow the usual safety procedures in a big city. The hotel was clean and basic but basically fine. Breakfast was bread yoghurt n coffee - ok - but nothing special. i would recommend...

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
