We stayed in Centrotel for 3 nights in Apr 2017. The room was extremely spacious with double-door balcony windows which completely removed the sounds from neighbouring buildings. Airconditioning and heating were both available in the rooms. My family room had both double bed AND a single bed. far adequate for our family of 3. The toilet was spacious with clean...

Great location. 500 metres from Victoria Metro Station. Several reviews say it's a dodgy area because of graffiti and men sitting around the square. You will find this occurs all over Athens. The area is fine. Hotel is clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast is very good value for 7.50 euro. Plenty of small restaurants and take away...

I stayed at the Centrotel Hotel with my Mum on our recent citybreak in Athens. The hotel was great value for money, had friendly staff, and is close to Omonio Square, a ten minute walk if that. The room (double) was a great size, and was comfortable. There is a lot of comments about the neighbourhood being unsafe, yes there...

The girl on the telephone spoke to me in a very inappropriate way. The people working in there are a group that speaks against the customers. This is something that we find in a lot of places. but this was too far. I was explaining to her some things about the reservation and the only answer that I got was...

Unfortunately the hotel plays hard ball with its guests; the controll panel of the air condition in the rooms is overriden by a controll panel in the reception, so that the guest doesnt have controll whatsoever of the temperature in the room ; whats more the guest is not informed about this (I got to know in the end after...

We visited the hotel end of March. The rooms are very nice and have jacuzzi in every single room, and that's WOW :) the personal is nice and smiled but the breakfast is not really impressive. Strongly recommend it for a budget trip.

With the exception of it being "unsafe", what most people write about the neighborhood is basically true. Yes, it's a bit ragged and yes there are newly arrived immigrants milling about. But this is a true Athens neighborhood so dive in and experience all it has to offer. Victoria metro station is just a few blocks up the road and...

Centrotel in Athens is a really nice hotel, amidst some not-so-nice streets. The hotel itself is lovely, the room was great, reception area is nice and the breakfast buffet was fantastic - a great start to the day. The local area however feels quite dirty and run down (a common theme in Athens it would seem), so if you find...

It is a very nice hotel and pretty close to Victoria metro station very convenient to go around the city. Idle location for everything! And the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.
