Pros: Easily accessible by metro, or even by foot (25 mins from the centre). Air-conditioned (as of 10/11pm). Affordable. Friendly, helpful staff. Cons: Very basic, with cockroaches in the bathroom on two seperate ocassions (the hostel staff came to spray though). Not very secure (there is one key to the room, which is only locked during the day and luggage...

The San Remo Hostel is located very close to the main Athens Train Station and Metro Station and that is its only USP. We booked for one private room for 02 of us and one bed in the mixed dorm. The ground floor private room had a queen size bed and a single bed, but the queen bed was broken...

San Remo is a small and cozy hostel. It's located very close to the train station and a metro stop which makes it both convenient to get to from the train station and to get into the heart of Athens via the metro. All the staff I came across were very friendly and went out of their way to help...

It is a small hostel not so far from the train station. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable beds and clean toilets. I stayed there for 2 nights with a friend and we were happy to stay there. It's only 30 mins by walking to Acropolis. This route from hostel to Acropolis does not seem to be so safe...

My friend and I stayed here for three nights in January, taking advantage of a 10 euro/night deal on HostelWorld. This hostel is great if you want a cheap place to stay, but it is a bit 'rough around the edges' compared to many others. The place isn't super clean, the beds aren't particularly comfortable, and the rooms get cold...

These guys are extremely friendly and they are very helpful as well. The hostel has a casual and lively atmosphere. I would have liked to stay longer I was so comfortable. Also, Christo, who runs it jointly with his wife, helped me out when he really didn' t have to. These are good people

The Hostel has a good location and kind staff but unfortunately the facilities are not so good, the rooms are not very comfortable and the toilets are wet most of the time because there is not a division for the showers. This is very inconvenient. The kitchen is just too small for all the guest. The price is cheap but...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in a private room with shared bathrooms. Bathrooms where clean as was the room. Basic facilities but fine for the price and good location within walking distance to metro. Staff where friendly and helped us even borrowed us there map.

My friend and I needed a place to sleep just for a couple of hours before taking our flight and wanted a cheap place, but if we had known the conditions of this place we would've slept at the airport. Our sheets were dirty, the toilet and the shower were awful and on top of that there was a giant...

Stayed here two nights. First night we got in from the airport and a cab around 3 am. Pretty much went straight to sleep and woke up realizing it would be easier to have a place to put our stuff down. We thought there were mosquitoes throughout the night since it's pretty common for both of us to get bitten....
