We enjoyed our short stay at the O&B. Our arrival time was late at night and we left early the next morning for the ferry, but the gracious O&B staff made sure that "our little time together" was pleasant and comfy. The room was very clean and the bed was wonderful. After traveling all day, we arrived via metro from...

we stayed 3 nights before joining our cruise. The hotel is in a great location, just below the Acropolis. It is within walking distance of many of the sights. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Don't be put off by the look of the location (ie the grafitti), it just seems to be everywhere in Athens and the locals...

Can't speak highly enough of this small hotel. I'm very fussy, but this place really delivers on all aspects. Spotlessly clean throughout, and so well kept that the place looks brand new. We booked a Petite-Suite with views of the Acropolis from a large terrace, it had a comfy bed, two types of pillows, very responsive room air-con and heating,...

We booked our late-October stay at O&B very early in the year after seeing its high rating on TripAdvisor. We weren't disappointed. Don't let comments about the less-than-swanky neighborhood deter you; it is very nice inside, and we didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable walking down the street. We arrived mid-morning after an overnight flight and our (upgraded) room was...

We stayed at O & B Athens for one night at the end of our cruise. We really enjoyed the contemporary amenities and immaculate ness of the hotel. After we arrived, a platter of appetizers was sent up to our room as a warm welcome. The location of the hotel enabled us to walk to many of the sights. We...

I spent 2 nights at the O&B and thouroughly enjoyed my stay which was made all the more enjoyable by an extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Hats off to them for their professionalism, their kindness and willingness to provide help. We stayed at the O&B Boutique Hotel in April as part of our honeymoon. We took the subway from the airport to the hotel. It was a bit difficult to get to as there are limited street signs (hint, it's not towards the Acropolis, it's towards the darker side of the street). It took us about 20 minutes to get...

The staff of O&B immediately welcomed us and treated us like they were our home base. We arrived at 8:30pm from USA and then left the next morning early to take a train to Meteora. We had a front desk "orientation to Athens," a complimentary welcome plate of lovely Greek savory appetizers and Greek wind brought to our room, our...

From the moment of arrival to the point of departure, the friendly, helpful staff made this a memorable stay. O&B is in a good location for the major tourist attractions, such as the Acropolis, the Agora and Kerameikos. The hotel sits on the edge of Psyrri - good for the Central Market and a variety of restaurants - and Monastiraki...

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at O&B in Athens. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The hotel is modern yet cozy. Location is central to major tourist attractions. Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
