Small boutique hotel. Great decor. Very accommodating. The location is perfect for walking around to all the sights without having to use a taxi. I recommend ealing woth a group at night. Ideal for Acropolis. The view from the rooftop bar is as the picture on their website. Simply amazing.

I've found: perfect staff, wonderful room (always clean and in order) and a fantastic skylounge, room service always on time; reception very welcoming, location in the city very close to the downtown center.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Wonderful rooftop bar (loved it for our last night and watching the sunset and the lights come on over the Parthenon). Large bathroom, but quite small room. Hair dryer could only be used in room, not bathroom, so not convenient.

This was a great hotel conveniently located with a fantastic roof top bar. The person who checked us in, (didn't catch his name, but tall, dark hair and glasses) was very welcoming. The only fault which isn't really the hotels fault is that the man on the taxi rank outside lost his temper because we ordered a uber and actually...

Great location. Easy walking distance to Plaka (loved it as much as the rest of the city) and other great sights of Athens. Rooftop bar/pool with the view of Acropolis is fab! Made the city break feel like a proper holiday. Even though we did not have an evening meal the menu looked delicious. The staff at Melia cannot be...

We stayed 2 nights, then further one night where they upgraded us for free. The hotel is very close to Omonia station. Good metro link from the airport, which is handy and to Acropolis. We loved the rooftop bar and the view of Acropolis. Good clean rooms and bathroom.

Hotel vey good, staff extremely helpful. We had a supreme room on 5th floor, large room and bathroom. Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
