We stayed at the Cozy "apartments" 200 meters down the street from the McQueen hotel. The apartments are apparently run by the hotel. The neighborhood might appear as seedy at the first sight, but it is really very calm, safe, and quiet. It is full of automotive (repair) shops, there is one (?) night club, several small cafes, bakery shop,...

Agree with everything President_Gas & sietze m say below. Not sure Amir1983 stayed in the same place we all did! Excellent staff -friendly and informative. Would recommend the restaurant they suggested -Kanella, excellent food good value for money. Stayed 6 nights, felt safe in the area.

As a frequent traveler who on a trip every month I can strongly say this is one of the worst properties I've ever seen, very bad and scary location, safe box is in the room but locked and they didn't open it,strange insects in the bed that bite whole my body while I was in the bed till morning,a thick layer of...

We stayed here for four nights. Not everything was perfect, but very good overall, and any little shortcomings were more than made up for by the superb staff. Location: The hotel is in the district of Votanikos. I don't know of any other city that has a Car Repair Quarter, but it did seem as though every other business was...

It is not situated in the best part of Athens. We had a lovely view of a car dump from our appartement. But the price is verry reasonable. Perfect for four young adults who are backpacking through Greece. The rooms are clean and neatly made. Everything was in working order and the a/c did his job. The staff at the...

Stayed here for 2 nights. The service was perfect and the staff was very accommodating. Short walk to city centre with tons of restaurants in the close vicinity. Highly recommended for anyone's next stay in Athens.

Don't be put off. It looks like this is a rough area, lots of car repair places and graffiti but I soon realised the rest of Athens is much the same. I wandered around on my own and never felt threatened. Room was large with kitchen area at one end which was great for me as I was here on...

I stayed at McQueen for three nights. The location was central and the hotel had the feel of a small collection of serviced apartments rather than a hotel. But the staff were amazing - on the last day there was a general strike, and the staff went to extraordinary lengths to get me to my flight on time. Even if...

This is a sweet little (<15 rooms) hotel. Rooms are big and CLEAN. But, this is a auto repair area and quite run down. We have walked around and felt safe, but we are right across from a small wrecking yard. If this building was on the other side of the main road it would be a gem. If you...

Big shout out to the staff, they are 5 stars all the way and made the stay amazing. I highly recommend the pick up service, Nickolus was professional, friendly and fast. He showed us to the right atm to for cash, out of the airport and to the hotel in 30 minutes. 50 Euros for 2 people and totally worth...
