The first thing that you notice when you enter here, is the size of the room. It is big and modern with a good size bed and plenty of space to store your things. The bathroom is also a good size with plenty of towels, bathrobes and many toiletries. We were provided with ear plugs but genuinely didn't need them...

This hotel is centrally located in monastiraki, the rooms are very spacious and clean and very modern. The rooftop bar has amazing view of the Acropolis. Great service good choice of food, breakfast was sufficient, the location is awesome if you want to be in heart of the city and have easy access to public transport, taxis and walking distance...

The hotel is across the street from a main tourist square. This means perhaps the best direct views of the Acropolis in the city and only a three minute walk to the Agora, but it also means a lot of street noise. Our first night, we managed to break midnight with jet lag and our second night we enjoyed a...

My husband and I arrived on a Saturday. We were given a room that faced the alley on the first floor. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, we got no sleep!!! We could hear everything outside our window... cars driving by, people talking, and loud music!!! On Saturday night, the music did...

I'm in this hotel now - my first night out of three. It's 3.30 am and I've been woken up by constant loud banging and noise. Finally left my room to see what was going on and followed the noise to 3 floors above me to 6th floor where I found a construction site full of workmen drilling, hammering etc...

We stayed in this hotel for the duration of our trip to Athens, and it was great. I rave to it to all of my friends due to the mere fact of its location and view. Our room looked onto the Acropolis and the view, especially at night, was stunning. Not only that, but there was a 2 way window...

Everyone rightly comments on the great location of the hotel. Right on the vibrant Monastiraki Square, you're in one of Athen's main cultural centers. It's very close to archaeological sites, like the ancient Agoras and, of course, the Acropolis. You are near all sorts of shopping: touristy things, the Athens Flea Market and some of Athen's major retail stores. Restaurants,...

Great location in the middle of everything (shops, museums, restaurants, night life and across the underground station. The hotel is refurbished and the rooms comfortable and with all amenities. There is a lovely restaurant at the top floor with amazing vie of Acropolis and all the city.

Perfect location (although weekend street noise heard from second floor... ear plugs fixed that); great breakfast with perfect view over the square and across to the Acropolis; very nice reception staff; comfortable room. I would always stay here in Athens!

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
