I had a business event at the Royal Olympic Hotel- and spent a great deal of money. The service by the catering staff was almost nonexistent, the bathrooms were rarely cleaned and my guests complained about the quality of the food. Even after addressing my concerns, the service did not improve. We had important topics to discuss at our seminar...

Excellent location and public rooms, rooftop bar and restaurant have an excellent view but only good value for money. Our room was refurbished and of a good standard but the bathroom needs the same, though sufficient and very clean. Parking is good, staff are very helpful though somewhat chaotic at times and are very friendly. Some more organised management of...

We stayed in Royal Olympic Hotel for 6 nights. My review is nothing is royal about this hotel except for the name. There are good 2 things about the hotel: location and view from restaurant at the top. It is located at a 10 minute walk from Acropolis, and so it is close to Plaka too (two places you should not miss)....

The hotel was located exactly as the photo shows we sat on the terrace both for an excellent hot buffet breakfast and in the evening enjoying the view of the Acropolis. Our executive room did not have a view but was quiet and with large bath/shower two full- size beds. Elevators were well placed and little wait. A nice lobby...

The room was absolutely terrific! Large room, beautiful decoration and very clean. Location was fantastic, 5 mins from the foot of mount Olympus and had everything we needed on our doorstep. First class breakfast, with very good service from the staff. Really nice people!

Stayed for three nights on business. The hotel seemed a very solid four star, with a few small things (such as tired decoration and carpeting, no complimentary water or tea/coffee facilities in the rooms and a ludicrously outdated "fitness suite") that may have made the difference to five star. However, the staff, particularly on reception, were unfailingly friendly and helpful....

Located in a great part of town close to Plaka. Hotel restaurant buffet was pleasant but the hotel ran out of towels on multiple days. Wifi was limited to one device per room. Neighborhood was a little sketchy, and the elevator broke on second night. Decent place, but not the best or safest. A friend's necklace was snatched on the...

Ok let's be honest it's not five star. But it's great and also reflected in the price. The gym described as 'new' is something out of the 70s located in a bizarre room outside of the hotel. Most of the equipment looks like it hasn't worked for years . However, the room was fine (aircon v dodgy) comfortable and clean,...

We visited the Royal Olympic Hotel as part of a long weekend break. The staff are wonderfully polite and try to accommodate every need. The roof top restaurant and bar is spectacular probably one of the most stunning locations in the world. Overlooking the Temple of Zeus and giving great views of the Acropolis and the city of Athens. I'd...

The Royal Olympic Hotel is a top class hotel - beautiful spacious lobby with marble floor and giant vases of giant flowers; rooftop bar and restaurant with a view of the Acropolis and Parthenon (eating your breakfast with that view is pretty special); across the street from the impressive Temple of Zeus - it's literally front and center for fabulous...
