    We didnt use the accommodation here, but stopped in for lunch. A tour group if 18 people were fed and entertained in style. Great history of the pub and town. Excellent food, very cold beer, and a perfect publican!

    Stopped here for a cold beer on a hot day - perfect! Friendly staff. Lovely laid back atmosphere. Great shady deck. Felt very welcome. Popular with the locals (and apparently a better pub than the well known purple pub!)
