Cosy guesthouse with tastefully decorated room, a bit small but adequate with a tv, modern new furniture and bathroom. Our room was super clean and cleaned daily, the bed was comfortable and there was a window with view to the street. The staff was very polite and helpful, they answered all our questions, made good suggestions and helped us with...

We chose Boavista guest house largely on price but were very happy with the choice. The guest house is a little out of town (a fast 15 minutes downhill, a little longer on the climb back up!) but that is to a degree an advantage - certainly on the Saturday night we stayed downtown itself was incredibly crowded with noise...

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and a short walk from the Metro. I was able to receive wifi in the room. When I went on a day trip, they provided the best early breakfast they could. They were extremely helpful with advice and helped me figure out how to change my train reservation. Would stay...

I was here for a 3-day break to take some photos and meet an acquaintance. As someone who loves walking - with and without a camera - around cities, I think that the location was perfect. Around you is real life, not bars devoted to charter tour groups. There are several local restaurants right nearby that give you a taste...

Like this hotel for location (away from hords of tourists and where river and ocean meet), service, roof top bar/pool, and water views. Breakfast included (better than average/almost same every morning). Front deak staff very helpful and grocery store near. Excellent access to town+ using Bus 500. Weakest score would be for bedding. Would certainly return as long as I...

Good Afternoon, We would like to inform you that your review (although very good) is not for our hotel... We are Boavista Guest House and not Hotel Boa-Vista. We are located in the city center, so unfortunatly, no ocean view... :) We are glad you liked our beautiful Porto. Best Regards

We only stayed for one night and arrived late so we literally only slept here, room was small and basic but clean and the bathroom had a good shower. Few mins walk to the metro which will have you in the centre in 5-10 mins, nice little area seemed nice and safe, they held our bags whilst we explored the...
