the location is the best, close to the metro and train station. Really easy to move around. The room was quite small but we only wanted a bed anyway, Power plugs are in weird places but they got us an extension so not a problem. The room was cleaned everyday and he staff was great. we didnt get breakfast, would...

It is just a place for bed. Don't take breakfast because it's quallity is further bad. It's better to have breakfast outside. If you want a place well located in the center of the city and cheap, this one could be an option. But It isn't very confortable.

Very well equipped, bright and comfortable room, good bed, fridge, lots of sockets, additional pillows and blankets. Very helpful and friendly staff. Prime location, right in the center, close to all beautiful places and monuments.

I highly recommend it, right down town ten minutes from everything and plus Hard Rock Cafe is very near, with very attentive staff, It has been renewed recently both bedrooms and bathrooms. Free WiFi. Bed a bit short for a tall person.

This hotel is centrally located but basic, reflected in the price. I went as part of a group and check in was efficient considering the number of us. Limited lift access and you need to take one flight of stairs from the street, in case this is an issue. I slept ok but others complained of the noise outside and...

Very frugal although clean place. Great location, close to train station. Thumbs down: dreadful flight of stairs even before you reach reception desk. Only one electricity plug, no minibar, outdated furniture.

This hotel is perfectly located. It's close to the hop on hop off buses, great shopping, eating AND the classic sights. While it's not posh, it is extremely clean. Great internet. The desk staff is excellent, particularly Liliana.

Porto, our last destination on our trip in this wonderful country was as we expected. A city port, with lively and cozy streets with a mix of sounds, tastes and people from all over the world. Well,is a port-city as his name is, pure and simple and as the wine who bear his name on it. we have had a...

Hotel Universal is a very basic hotel, clean, central, friendly and convenient. Downside is the flight of stairs to the reception when you arrive especially with luggage. They should include the breakfast with the price since it was very basic anyway, bread, spreads, fruit and diluted coffee, expensive for €5. This is to avoid the confusion when hotel guests enter...
