We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it’s ridiculous. It doesn’t seem like a 4 star at all. In the past month I have lived in 9 hotels and this is the worse. We had to change rooms as the window in the earlier room didn’t shut at all. The person at the reception came and tried to shut it but said that she didn’t know how to operate things in the room. Being a 4 star they don’t have any coffee/tea service in the room, the window sides in the room is atrocious. They have two buildings to the hotel one old and one new, the new one just seems a front because they check in their guests in the old building which is rotten and covered in green fungus/mold. There is an old building wall edge inside the room with black/green fungus like structure. It’s extremely dirty. The only hotel I came across where adapters ain’t available, when asked at the reception they said they don’t have any without being apologetic about it. I have had adaptors even in boutique hotels. They don’t have double beds only twin beds joined together. It’s an easy 15 min walk to the city centre. The walk didn’t bother me as much as the run down condition of the hotel and the service. Would never consider staying again. Would have changed the hotel immediately if it wasn’t all paid for in advance. …
Room was cozy and very clean. Excellent location, lots of restaurants, shops around it. Been twice in a Venezuelan Restaurant with Caribbean food. Would choose it again. Train stops, bus stops at walking distance.
Our stay at Das Artes was average, It wasn't terrible but it wasn't the luxury 4 star stay you'd expect. Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, with good english skills. Hotel a little tired and dated. Our hotel room was unclean, there was a dried contact lens on the floor and dust on all surfaces. Bedside lamps didnt work. Bed was very comfortable though, and bed linen felt clean. Room is large and spacious but with very little character. No sound from the halls or nearby lift which was a bonus. Good range of english speaking tv channels. Location was good, everything in Porto is a little spread out so everywhere is a good 10+ min walk. The area felt very safe even at night with a few cafes and a supermarket nearby. Hop on+off bus stop nearby. Being a port town, the area is quite hilly, to reach the river front, it is a good 20min walk downhill.…
Stayed her for bussiness, great hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast selection is excellent. Location is in a quiet street but very close to all the sites. Hi-speed Wifi included. Recommended!
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel in Porto, the bed was comfortable, great bath, the staff helpful with interesting buffet breakfast with everything you wish for, its like being pampered when everything is offered, great coffee so I highly recommend this hotel
