We stayed here for 4 nights in September 2016. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially the lady who services the breakfast room. The hotel room was a little old fashioned but was functional and clean, my only complaint was lack of plug sockets, especially at the side of the beds. Breakfast was very good and offered a lot of choice. The hotel was in an excellent location, not far from the main square and close to bars, restaurants and the sights that Porto has to offer. My only complaint was that it could be a little noisy as the area is obviously popular and busy. We caught the train from the airport which took about 30 minutes and it was about a 5 minute walk from the station to the hotel. Porto itself is a lovely place with plenty to see and do and it is easy to get around. We used the hop on, hop off bus for a couple of days, but lots of places were easily accessible by walking. The port area is very busy with a lot going on, we went on a boat trip which I would highly recommend and our ticket included port tasting as well which we also enjoyed. Overall, the hotel is a decent option if you are not expecting luxury and want a reasonably priced hotel in a good location in Porto.…
The hotel is close to bars, restaurants and sights. Rooms are small, but functional and very clean. Rooms to the back are quite. Breakfast is good and offers a reasonable choice. The only downside is the coffee, which we did not like, neither espresso, nor americano nor capucino. The staff is very friendly and helpful
Normal rooms are average and would need refresh. Walls are thin, so you can hear everything thing your neighbors say, when they enter / go out of their rooms. There is a lock in the room but it might be an option 'cause there is no key to close it. Hotel is well located and have nice choice of breakfast.
The room was good. But a little old fashioned tierd. Shower clean and hot. Wifi good Breakfast was good for a small hotel. Only thing is there is noise from passer bys outside that you can hear in the room Staff very helpful
One of the worse hotels I’ve stayed in. Drunk shouting in the street until 4AM, woken up by drilling at 7AM, the breakfast was disgusting, they refused to give us 2 keys for a room with 2 people, the room didn’t seem to have been decorated for 40 years, you have to pay extra to use the safe, they wouldn’t lend me an iron (said you have to pay but didn’t know how much).....and there was even some boxer shorts on the windowsill!!

"stay as far away from the elevator - a bit noisy and small so people might queue up outside your door."Read full review
