I always read the reviews when choosing a Hotel and this one had some of the best out of the hotels I was looking at - However it exceeded my expectations! The reception staff are so friendly and cannot help you enough. We stayed in a large room on the first floor (suite) and it was lovely. Really nicely decorated...

Good hotel, central location. Staff friendly and helpful. Decor typically Portuguese, rather dark in lobby and bar area. Bedrooms clean and simply furnished. Restaurant was nearly always empty but this was low season. Had breakfast whilst there, this was adequate but not extensive. We did eat in the restaurant on 2 evenings, the menu was average and not particularly to...

The lobby and bar areas certainly have the wow factor and the location is great and central, very easy to find from the metro and within easy reach of all the sights of Porto. The standard room was a little on the small side but made up for it with a huge bathroom. The room was very clean and reasonably...

Excellent Hotel, well placed in the centre of Porto. Rooms were very clean and staff were attentive and helpful. It is a short walk to many attractions, but beware it is a very hilly City. The Metro line is 2 minutes walk away and is fast and clean. The Breakfast was ample if slightly boring. The decor of the Hotel...

Historic building in the centre of Porto, this is a hotel with outstanding entrance lobby and breakfast/ dinning room, very relaxing ! Classic room on 1st floor, was very nice, clean and quiet - bathroom with bathtub and excellent shower-good water pressure ! Mentioned that was our wedding anniversary, so was nice to find bottle of sparkling wine on ice,...

Great value, clean rooms in a good location for walking to all the sights. Breakfast was good if you stick to the continental, eggs sausage and bacon were a bit tasteless but we are on the continent so I'm sure these are just provided for Brits! Rooms are very small but for the price they're excellent value and clean. You...

Overall, this hotel doesn't live up to it's name. The public spaces - lounges, dining room - are grand, but the guest room was very barely adequate. Our room was at the ver back of the hotel, below the dining room. I think the hotel was going for a minimalist look in the guest rooms, but they ended up looking...

We stayed two nights on a special price deal (110€ including breakfast) and were very content. Having read some other tripadvisor reviews I had feared a little room or a noisy street. Not so, for us! We were on the conference floor (lower ground) and there was no seminar in progress. The room was quite large enough for a hotel...

My wife and I were in Porto for three nights, just to have a good time and soak up some sun. We booked last Friday after checking out the weather forecast which stated sun, sun and sun! We arrived around noon at the hotel. The people at the check-in were really cheerful and we had a short chat about the...
