We stayed in the Presidential Suite in the Hotel Infante Sagres and it was magnificent. The rooms were impeccably furnished with period pieces that created "old world charm" balanced with comfort and luxury. We had plenty of space, with a total of three rooms to spread out in as well ample closet space for our things. The main, four post...

Very well situated, very nice suit, lovely breakfast, very poor wifi, could not believe that such an establishment cannot provide wifi Also reception service is far from excel. I asked this morning to have our car at 19:15, reminded reception At 19:00 and now at 19:22 still waiting. Not satisfying for a 5 star hotel.

This hotel has class. It's nothing like a big box hotel (which I'm very okay with)... the ceilings are high, the details are unique and the lobby is charming. It's the kind of hotel I would stay in my home city, because it's so different than the norm. The staff is really nice and we had a welcome drink of...

Well located but rather expensive hotel in Porto. Reception staff too busy and never answered phone - breakfast was good with friendly staff. The decor was dated and the hotel could do with a room + bathroom refurb. So we wouldn't recommend this hotel unless it cost 50% less and hired more reception staff....

Location: Fantastic location at the top of the historic and commercial districts; restaurants, cafés, shops right outside the door. No city or river view, however. Greeting and first impressions: The exterior of the hotel looks like a 1950s commercial building, but the first step inside presents solid historical Portuguese: a mixture of glam and experienced history. We had arrived by...

As we are members of SLH we got an upgrade to a astonish room very well furnished despite and comfortable. If you like old furniture it is a must. Good breakfast, staff (Duarte the manager in the afternoon) was very kind in suggesting places to visit and eat. I don't know how are the standards rooms but loved the suite.

The stained glass is gorgeous, the old-fashioned lift is gorgeous, the courtyard spaces are also gorgeous. If you like to city-break in style you can't go wrong with this hotel. It helped that they upgraded us to a suite with two bathrooms for just the two of us - one white marble - one black. It felt truly decadent to...

Spent a night here during a weekend with a few friends. The location is great, right in the middle of Porto. The hotel fits in the category of classic luxury – it is decorated in dark woods, velvet and gold colors. Although I am not a fan of this type of hotel, since I prefer it simpler, I have to...

First, the hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are a good size (relative to other hotels in Europe), very clean and the washroom had a terrific shower! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff was amazing. After a booking mix up that was our travel agent's fault, the hotel accommodated us fed us (at no cost) while it got...

Just spent 3 nights here on a city break. The exterior of the hotel gives no clue to the wonderful, over the top Baroque interiors that await. The breakfast room alone is like the ballroom of a stately home. The welcome at reception could not have been better. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, handing out maps, directions and...
