Hotel is centrally located, just walking distance to any where. Near to Luis Bridge as well. Alot of good restaurants in the surroundings. There's one cafe to the left of hotel, has very good pasteis de Nata! Room is spacious. Bed is comfortable. Toilet is clean but without toilet brush, not good for house keeping staff. Breakfast is really good, from warm to cold food, fruits, pastries and juices. Some days the chef will walk around to serve fleshly baked pasteis de Nata ohlala!
During my business trip to Porto and with the advice of my friends I ended up trying the bar in your hotel, which certainly caused me some displeasure. It all started normally, until I settled down and the endless waiting began. When they finally decided to attend to me, I noticed some arrogance on the part of the staff, specially an older lady who seemed to be responsible due to certain attitudes towards the rest of the staff. The improper games, the forced smile of some and the bad smell of the toilet were other aspects that jumped out at me. Although not everything went well, the drinks suggested by the bartender José were very good (I was quite surprised) and the place itself is quite pleasant and with a very good view.
Good central location for a nice hotel with a good restaurant with good breakfast with and very helpful staff the rooms are not however well designed with a lack of accessible storage space which is a shame
I stayed two timeslastNovember at this nice hotel whilst on my holiday. The second time was for five days. Perfect location in the centre, close to restaurants, cafes and historic places. About five min. walk to the Metro wich takes you to and from the airport. Less than ten min. walk to Sao Bento Central Station. Quick and efficient checkin. Great helpful Staff. Eduarda, Denise, Monika and the guy who worked with her, sorry I can't remember his name and Filipa, they can't do more to help. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but had dinner many times at the restaurant. I had good food for a reasonabl price and nice wines. Myroomwasabsolutely beautiful, teas and coffees replenished daily, very quiet and a fantastic view also a special view from the bathroom. Worderobe with plenty space. Marvellous bed and pillows. It's a perfect place to stay. I can't wait to go back again to this great hotel. Thank you to all the great Staff. …
Ideally located for shopping, sightseeing and exploring the city. Reception is exceptional, well staffed and very helpful. Rooms are good, clean and comfortable but can get a little hot through the night. Great breakfast selection and plenty of tables.
"My room didn't have a view but faced a building across a narrow alley - it was quiet."Read full review
