Perfect location, super friendly and helpful staff, lovely decorated room / common areas. Had probably the best sleep in years (excluding own home). The house is old, so some noise can be heard from the other rooms/common areas/outside, but overall quite peaceful and lovely atmosphere.

We spend a weekend in september in this hostel in porto and we don`t regret it so far. Miguel on the reception welcomed us very friendly and gave us the key to our double private room. We were surprised because the room was without any window. So we felt a little bit upset but it was Ok for a weekend....

This hostel was by far, the best hostel we stayed at in Portugal. {We stayed at 6 different ones} It was in a good location and the staff was very helpful. Miguel at the desk was simply amazing. He helped us by informing us about the sights of Porto and with a restauraunt recommendation. The other staff members were also...

Me and my wife stayed here on our honeymoon and we didn't regret it at all. It's good, cheap and really clean. The kitchen doesn't have an oven, but it has a fridge, microwave and two induction stoves. It also has a lot of basic ingredients such as pasta, olive oil, salt, pepper, the options were a lot. The common...

I stayed here for a few nights over a weekend and out of all of the hostels I have experienced after two month of backpacking, this was definitely one of the cleanest, nicest and best value hostels I have stayed in up to now. I stayed in a female dorm bed up the very top and found it to be...

We stayed in the double bedroom up the very top and found it to be very spacious and with a private bathroom was very convenient. Queen bed was comfortable and large windows that opened let in a lot of fresh air. Bedrooms were quiet with the exception of a noisy rooster in the backyard of someone's property nearby but am...

I stayed there with two friends for three days in March/April, returning again after a weekend in Lisbon. We stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm with modern furniture and ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was included. Generally, I was surprised as I did not expect that much from a Hostel. Magnolia Hostel is a very clean place with a very good...

Porto is our last city after travelling 7 other cities in 6 countries for 10 days. Felt exhausted, we got friendly and warm welcome from Miguel who assist us with all accomodation. Eventhough we had not check-in yet, we were allowed to cook and eat rice plus boiled noodle which make us feel home in Porto! What made it also...
