What a wonderful place for the price. Booked one of the ensuite rooms for a long weekend and it was as lovely as the pictures. We were at the rear of the property which was also very quiet. Location is also fantastic. Wouldn't look to stay anywhere else if visiting Porto again as just as good as more expensive options.

Great hostel in a nice location in Porto, with good sized rooms and free breakfast. Really nice staff, and they let us store our bags there before check in and after check out for free while we wandered around!

We had the Alba room, the view was fabulous from the room. Comfy bed, large bathroom although would have loved a hair dryer. Reception team knowledged us now and again! Not much interaction! Breakfast was basic, so we decided to go out each morning. But we never booked this place for the brekkie. Location was excellent, well worth staying her...

Located within walking distance of all the major sights in Porto, but hidden down a quiet secondary street, the Poets Inn is perfectly situated for a stay in the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable and wonderfully decorated, and the shared bathrooms are equally as clean. We made good use of the common areas, often ending up in the kitchen...

Location is fantastic, just around the corner from the Clerigos tower and Lello bookshop. The room (Genet) was fairly comfortable but sparse; the double bed was 2 singles attached, with an annoying gap in the middle. Breakfast was self-service and budget - rolls, ham, cheese, cheap orange juice, one type of cereal and coffee. Staff were very friendly.

Great Location and clean room. Had to leave at 7am to catch a flight, breakfast was at 8am with no flexability on that, milk to make tea was only available at 8am as was coffee. I base the following comments on the warm welcome we received throughout Portugal & Spain. With a few low cost modifications (milk in fridge, coffee...

Staying at the Poets Inn was such a lovely experience. Great location in the city centre and we walked to the Ribeira in 10-15 mins. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable, with a little balcony and amazing views over the city! Breakfast is included, it is quite basic but still a bonus! Nice clean common areas and...

This hostel is a cut above most! It's immaculately clean and well decorated. We really enjoyed the Kerouac room with a small balcony facing the street. The breakfasts are very good and the staff very helpful. The location could not be better!

This place is a real gem right in the heart of Porto. The hostel has a very cosy overall vibe and the themed rooms are a great touch, it almost doesn't feel like a hostel at all. The beds were comfortable and the shared bathroom, the room itself as well as the common areas were all very clean. The location...
