Located in a building from de XIX century that was recently remodelled, the Domus 26 Guesthouse - B&B has an excellent location for those who want to discover the historic centre of Braga on foot. The rooms include a simple and cosy decoration and some details that prompt the will to discover many of the hotspots of the city. All of them include cable television and a sound system so you can relax to the sound of your own music. The breakfast is included and it is served in the living room where our guests can also read one of the books that the small library offers. With an informal and familiar reception, the mission of Domus 26 is to make your stay in the city of Braga an unforgettable experience.

The positive reviews are well deserved
It was a challenge finding the address and parking can be a problem although the owners will try to reserve a spot for you if you contact them in advance. Once parked though, there is no longer any reason to take your car as this B&B is perfectly situated to visit Braga. Our room was very large and modern, with a comfy bed and sitting area and a large modern bathroom. A delicious breakfast is served downstairs on the ground floor (FYI, there is an elevator). The hostesses and very friendly and willingly provide information about what to do and where to eat in the area. Highly recommend!

What a great place to stay. Our room was lovely, great breakfast and as always a fantastic welcome. Domus 26 is centrally located , so you can walk everywhere.Our daughter lives closely and we stay here 2 or 3 times a year, it has been a home from home for us.

THE place to stay in Braga.
A super friendly family run guesthouse that is a short walk from the train station and adjacent to everything you want to see in Braga. Modern spacious rooms feature comfy beds and large bathrooms. The cathedral room has a wonderful view of the cathedral and is extra large. Can’t say enough about Rita, her mom, dad and entire family who know everything about Braga and the local area. Their advice directed us to great eats and fun sights. Stay here!

Best place to stay in Braga!
We traveled to Braga to visit our son who is doing research at the University of Minho. We chose this property due to its location in the historic district of Braga as well as the many excellent reviews. We were very pleased with our choice. This guesthouse is perfectly situated in Braga, with so many wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. As well, many of the historic sights of Braga are within walking distance. It was wonderful to step out onto the cobblestone roads and discover something new each day. The property itself is modern, roomy, well appointed and very clean. We had a room on the second floor with a lovely balcony that included views of the cathedral. The bathroom is very modern with plenty of hot water and our room had air conditioning, though we didn’t not need it. The beds were very comfortable! The room also had a safe, hangers in the closet and small refrigerator. Tons of natural light in the room with floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast was included with our reservation and we were pleased with all the offerings. We had hot coffee, fresh fruit juices, yogurt with nuts and granola and delicious homemade breads. Meats and cheeses were also offered as well as many fruits, jams and honey. The staff at the guesthouse are outstanding, warm and thoughtful and always helpful. Rita, who we spoke with most often, runs the property with her mother. She speaks several languages including perfect English. She gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and transportation, answered all of our questions, and generally made herself available if we needed anything. If we ever travel back to this part of Portugal we will absolutely stay here again. Our trip was perfect!…
