Good sized suites, perfect location!
We certainly got more than what we bargained for. This place has suites (large ones) instead of rooms, with complete amenities in the kitchen and two washrooms, one with a shower. It accommodated our family of four perfectly. The person in charge is Margarida. She speaks English and gives a lot of tips on what to do in and around Braga. Our trip to the Peneda-Gerês National Park was smooth partly due to her sound advise. The location is right in the center, at the Braga square, with a supermarket just next door. The shopping area is all around, and plentiful with eateries. They also have a underground car park , which you need to book in advance with the hotelier, as it is a public car park and so, she will need to reserve it for you. Do note: 1. You cannot drive to the front of the hotel, to unload the luggage 2. There is no lift in the premises, so you’ll need to carry the bags up 3. The drinks and food in the fridge is not free, but they are reasonably priced Breakfast is simple, but lovely. There’s a good array of food, served in the ground floor breakfast area. There was one setback. The dryer wasn’t working when we stayed there. I hope it’s fixed for use for the future customers. …

Extremely Good! / Great!
Like another reviewer has noted we expected a room and got a large one bedroom apartment with kitchen, washer/dryer. Breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely courtyard! Margarida and Carlotta were extremely helpful. Great location. Very nice entrance, staircase, tiles. We hope to return to Braga and if so will definitely stay here again!!

Modern flat in a great location
I was expecting a room and got a 1 bedroom flat with a sitting room, kitchen and a washer/dryer! There were goodies in the fridge with no extra charge. I arrived Easter Saturday and as the normal breakfast could not be served on Easter Sunday the owner left a wonderful assortment of breakfast treats including cake, bread, fresh orange juice. a croissant with jam, fresh strawberries, fresh sliced kiwi and other goodies. The next two days when the usual breakfast was served, it was also delicious. The coffee machine in the flat was excellent. The location was incredibly useful, on a large plaza (so less claustrophobic than some other parts of town) but right next to most of the sights I wanted to see, The shower was good. I really enjoyed Braga and the Tea 4 Nine Guesthouse. I did have a terrible time mastering the front door lock. If it hadn't had been Easter, the owner would have shown me what to do the first time I ran into problems, as she did on Monday, but before then, once a neighbour and once a passer by, had to open the door for me. But I would stay there again in a heartbeat now that I have mastered the lock!…

Outstanding breakfast, big room
The breakfast room is cute and small, and the breakfast is outstanding w everything freshly prepared. Thr apt is very spacecious and the bed is extra large and super comfy. We slept so well. The location is very central. All in all, it is great for family travel stay. The owner even parked my car, nice service.

Great appartment in excellent location
The Tea4nine Guest House is in a great location in the centre of Braga, it is in the pedestrianized city area but with paid underground parking just steps away. There are 4 suites over the 1st and 2nd floors (2 each floor) with reception and a bistro on the ground floor. A delicious buffet style breakfast with some hot egg dishes is served in the Bistro. All apartments are large, immaculate, newly renovated, and finished to a very high standard. They have a fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer, dining area, lounge with flat screen cable TV and free wi-fi, a powder room and a large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower) and a large closet.

Hi, yes 200m away at the end of the place where the Hotel is located is a Parking House. Just Call Tea 4 nine before and there Show you the place. They have special reservation in this Parking House. You just Drive to the entrance tell them you are Guest from tea 4 nine and the Staff of Parking House will Park the car for you. The same when you need the car, then they bring it to the entrance.You pay Parking at tea4 nine. Have nice stay, it is really lovely there. Regards Norbert Best
