We left it very late to start the first day of our camino from Porto to Barcelos, and ended up walking in 30 degrees heat. We reached Bagoeira a little worse for wear and were welcomed with a smile. My boyfriend had heat stroke that night and the hotel were so nice. We ended up staying an extra night to...

Modern and clean hotel. Very friendly staff (despite my not speaking Portuguese). On the route of the camino. The restaurant beside it serves good food in a friendly atmosphere (and I believe there are other marvellous restaurants in the town.) The breakfast was the best. Unbeatable value

Awesome place. Everything is perfect - great reception, housekeeping, bar... Wonderful value, great location... You will not be disappointed. The attached restaurant is amazing - you must go there. Safe travels!

We stayed here for only one night. The staff were helpful and professional. The room was of an adequate size and it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast could've been better but, for the price, it was reasonable. Wifi was a little unreliable. The hotel has underground parking and is situated opposite the site of the Thursday market. Great place for...

Enjoyed our stay & the hotel is not far from some lovely gardens and the Barcelos square. We used it as on overnight on our Camino to Santiago de Compestela. It was clean & quiet and the restaurant downstairs was quaint & old worldly. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

By chance we arrived in Barcelos in the early evening and found this hotel. Excellent and the best part was the restaurant serving delightful local specialities. Hotel was very comfortable, clean and an excellent breakfast. Will return and wholeheartedly recommend.

Stayed one night while on the Camino. It was very convenient in downtown on the main square. Lots of eating choices close by. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was basic, but clean and the bed was excellent. Breakfast buffet was included and was quite extensive.

Right on the pilgrimage road from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. Basic rooms, acceptable breakfast, and a helpful reception. Slightly overpriced for the value received. Many nice restaurants nearby.

We checked in and stayed elsewhere as the bed room and hotel corridors smelled unpleasantly of cigarette smoke. Also, wifi was not working which caused us some work issues. Between the wifi and room stinking of cigarettes we left and found another hotel in nearby Braga for €5 euros cheaper with a much nicer room! It may have been just...
