We recently stayed in one of the suites on floor 10, very spacious, clean plenty of wardrobe space. The staff are all friendly and helpful especially Dinise the barman. Plenty of choice in the main restaurant and very good food in the Italian and Madeira restaurants. Caberet show was very good, entertainment is available every night. An excellent choice for...

Just spent a week at this hotel for our silver wedding. Nice relaxed atmosphere, but then again the vast majority of guests were more mature, which reflected in the activities, and evening entertainment. Nice clean rooms and public areas meant you felt welcome. Meals at the restaurant were adequate, but nothing to shout about, they seamed repetitive, cheaper cuts of...

Our second visit to Madeira.Hotel was within easy distance from centre of Funchal with buses running regularly to the town. The hotel bedroom was just above the kitchen extractor fan which meant we could n,t sit outside on the balcony. No doubt you can pay for an upgrade. The reception area with the main bar was always busy and finding a seat at...

Out of all the places in Europe, where we go looking for the winter sun, Madeira is at the top of my list. It's only a 4 hours flight away, but you don't even have to touch your watch to adjust the time, because my time in Madeira is exactly the same as it is for my grandchildren in London....

We stayed here recently for one week on an all inclusive deal with Mercury Holidays. It was our first experience of an all inclusive holiday and so we cannot compare with any other hotels. However, it was a fabulous experience and the hotel fully justifies its 5* status. The hotel is situated a 40 minute walk or a short bus...

Excellent hotel, excellent food, the rooms are quite big and clean, always a great choice of food plenty of restaurants in hotel, they have a few speciality restaurants Japanese, Italian, Maderian, and Atlántico. They all served up excellent quality food, although I'm not a lover of Sushi I thought the Japanese was probably the best, everything is top quality and...

Well, for the first time I am writing a review before the trip is even over. After a disastrous holiday with Thompson in Tenerife a few weeks ago ( they and the Be live should be ashamed of themselves), it was a joy to travel with Jet 2 to this hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms had been...

We stayed in this hotel on a Thomson holiday from 6 -13 February 2017 occupying room 422. ROOM - I believe the room was designated as a superior room. It was a very comfortable room with 3 beds (2 of which were set as a double and afforded comfortable space) There was a good sized wardrobe including both hanging, drawer...
