We stayed here for two weeks and what we experienced was an excellent budget hotel. The room and bathroom were basic but clean. The staff were excellent. From the housekeepers to the managers everyone was polite and friendly, and the reception and waiting staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The whole atmosphere was of a young team who are working...

The staff could not have been more helpful on our delightful stay here on this magnificent island. Room with sea view was basic however the food was continually exemplary and the service was freindly without being imposing. Would have no hesitation on coming back to this hotel.

The hotel is a little way out of the centre (about a 30-40 minute walk) but the bus stop is just up the road. It is quite an uphill trek to get back to the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel has a limited menu but we found something we liked every evening and didn't eat out at all. The...

Beautiful Boutique Hotel. Went here to eat following a recommendation. Two of our party are strict vegetarians which can sometimes cause problems on an island full of Beef and Fish. No problem for the wonderful chef and staff at The Flame Tree. In fact my veggie mate mate said it was the best food he'd eaten in a long time,...

It's pleasent. I wouldn't want to stay longer than the few days we did as there was little in the way of sun loungers or anywhere to just relax properly. The pool is tiny and looks a bit shabby. Breakfast was hit and miss but plenty of it and great service. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the reception staff...

This is a great little restaurant (and guest house) with a decked area for outside eating. The menu is limited (3 choices for each course) but very good food. The garlic bread was the best, as was the house red! Service not the quickest but not a problem. Worth a visit.

Rooms are not the best, but as another reviewer mentioned they are aware of this and doing improvents all the time. Speaking to the hotel manager, they dont get a low season like other med resorts so refurbishments are done as and when they get time. The food was amazing. I had the set 3 course dinner and was delighted!...

This was my first time at this hotel. First room assigned had a dreadful bed (springs poking through), and the toilet was leaking, smelled like hell, and had obviously been leaking before as the toilet door and bedroom wooden flooring were corroded. After complaining, we were told there were no more rooms, and no new beds. After threatening to cancel...

We have stayed here on many occasions. Always a friendly welcome. Rooms, especially the bathroom are a little tired and need updating, but the owners are aware of this and will be making improvements. The staff are terrific, nothing is too much trouble, you just have to ask. Buffet breakfast is very good, with hot and cold food available. The...

I came over here for a week in the middle of my 3 week visit to Glasgow. When we lived in Glasgow my wife and I visited this hotel and found the food to be so good we ate here every night and it was also a good walk to the nearest restaurant. I know remember 2 reasons the Flame...
