Stayed in a sea view room which was very modern, clean and comfortable. The only downside to the room was that whilst a kettle was provided in the room tea and coffee were not. However the drinks from the hotel bar were very reasonably priced. Great views from the sun deck day and night and very easy to find a...

I chose the hotel due to its equidistant proximity to Funchal and Camaro de Lobos as we like walking daily to either or destinations. I also know that the hotel was once of the first established in the Adjuda area over thirty years ago. I have walked past in many times and noted how tired and dowdy it looked, but...

Nice welcome. Wonderful sea view room which was immaculate and on a daily basis remained that way. Good selection at breakfast. Very good location which I don't think could be any better. A went half board, but I now perhaps wished I had just gone b&b because there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. There is no...

Stayed here for 1 night before joining a cruise ship and everything was great. The views from our room and the beautiful outside terrace were stunning. Our room was spotless and was kitted out with all modern equipment. We did have an issue with the internet which was very slow and kept cutting out. We went to the reception and...

Just back from a week here. The hotel is beautiful to look at with stylish public areas and smallish but well decorated and furnished rooms (large shower but no bath). We had an end room on the 9th floor with a fabulous sea view and a view inland. Breakfast provided a good selection with garlicky chipolatas in the cooked breakfast....

Good things, the view from the balcony room. Watching the sun come up over the desertas Islands and the cruise ships, whale watching and tour boats. The breakfasts looking over the sea, the pool with a view and the shortcut to the "beach". Rooms impeccable, clean and comfy. Bad things, not many but there is a comedy coffee machine in...

This hotel has recently been refurbished and upgraded from a three star category. It now has 4 stars though in my opinion pushing five. The staff are universally friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The balcony overlooking the sea was a joy and it also looked down on the hotel pools - always in...
