Excellent for a small hotel. Clean and well furnished, very comfortable with a great view. We really enjoyed our stay here. Service was great. We did not do the breakfast, instead wanted to go to the renown Paraquita for pastries. The only drawback to the location was the walk to town, which was uphill about 10 mins. We did not...

This is a bed and breakfast far from everything and way too pricey for the bad location and non charming room. False advertising! Also, very inflexible owner, who refused to refund any portion of a nights stay due to a family emergency where we had to fly back suddenly to the USA. There are many more options to consider staying...

This elegant but comfortable b and b was the perfect spot from which to explore Sintra. Our room had a balcony and view of the fairy tale-like castle, which further contributed to the charm of the accommodations. Breakfast was outstanding and not to be missed. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Very fine place to stay for a couple of days when doing Sintra and surroundings. Even with the crowds in the center/tourist part of town it was quiet with a place to park the car. It's a 10 minute up hill walk on a narrow street to the center but pleasant to do a few times. It's also a bit...

This is a special, enchanting home. Our room faced the valley and the view was a feast of lush beauty. We were on the third floor which was a climb with luggage; however help is available if you need it. Our bedroom and bathroom were large and pleasantly decorated; the bed comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. We had our...

We had a peaceful stay at Casa Miradouro. The hostess who greeted us was friendly and gracious. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a wonderful countryside view. The bathroom was adequate and clean. The things to know about staying here is that it is located on the periphery of Sintra. The plus to this is that it...

Overall a nice place to stay - but be aware it is a bit of a walk into the main areas where restaurants etc. are. Either way it is a walk up & then down hill (or vice versa) depending on if going to old town or new town. We stayed 2 nights and the 1st night our room was...

We spent 2 days here and loved it. We were welcomed with a sherry by a very friendly staff member, who was friendly and helpful the whole time we were there.. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to a large room with a balcony. Great views of other Sintra attractions from the balcony. The inn is on a corner...

I found it really hard to find somewhere to stay in Sintra, so ended up booking this place based largely on the recommendation of Alistair Sawday. It's the most disappointing Alistair Sawday place I've stayed in, but it's okay for a night or two at a push. It's cold firstly, which I think is a basic thing for a hotelier...
