The location is very convenient if you will be sightseeing around the Sintra area. The house has a nice balcony that would be nice for sitting with a cup of coffee or for eating breakfast in the warmer months. It has a nice view of the Castle of the Moors. We left our dogs behind and were glad to see...

We stayed here for one night. It is a beautiful property with great views. It was raining heavily during the night and water ran down the walls, splashing onto a painting and over the bed waking us up in the middle of the night. We had to drag the bed into the middle of the room to stay dry while...

Stayed for three nights at this guest house. We were using public transport so walked from the station to the Estrada do Pena ( which is actually the route to the Moorish Castle and the Pena Palace) and accepted a lift for the last bit on a passing tuk-tuk, who took us to the door for 5 euros. Once we'd...

Excellent value, friendly hosts and top-notch breakfast, location good - not in town, but convenient for climbing up to the Moorish Castle and the Palace of Pain (Pena). Nice cat and dog. Pleasant patio area for admiring the views and listening to the leaf-blowing activities. Some issues with the shower plumbing - no cold water. Comfortable bed and accommodating host....

We planned to stay only one night and ended up staying two. The host and his housekeeper are super friendly and accommodating. The location is on a hill with a great view up to the Moorish Castle, lit by night, absolutely stunning and magical. The breakfast is scrumptious, is served in a common dining room, and will tie you over...

Magic setting, within walking distance of historic Sintra and restaurants. Well maintained, clean. Owner very friendly, multilingual and knowledgeable about the area. Having breakfast on the sunny terrace with glorious views was a bonus. Our room was too small but that is our fault for changing our dates at short notice in high season. So the advice is :book early...

Chalet Relógio was a great found. Although not a fancy boutique hotel there’s plenty of character in the rooms and in the decoration. I really recommend the superior rooms on the first floor (and one in the second floor), the other rooms on the second floor are much smaller with small windows and do not have so much character. The...

Jerome the owner and our host is a very pleasant and hospitable guy. After the heat of the Algarve the contrast in temperature is startling. It is located in the hills and shrouded in mist/cloud. It is very similar to the Peak in Hong Kong which we overheard said in Cantonese by some Chinese visitors and they are not wrong....

Sintra is a very beautiful place, with lots of things to do and see, me and my boyfriend stayed at Chalet Relogio, we enjoyed so much, the view from the room (from the window we could see the Mourish Castle and the forest around), the hospitality, the room, the breakfast was all top top! I'm sure we will come back...
