We really enjoyed our stay at the Rio Art. Lovely helpful staff at the front desk, large well appointed rooms and fantastic location. I appreciated that our room was in such close proximity to the breakfast room, so that I could sneak out in my comfy hotel robe and slippers (always a welcomed touch) and grab a coffee and pastry to start my morning while my husband still slept. It felt like home! We did, by the way, decide on Setubal so will be back to Rio Art for our house hunting soon!
This hotel is exceptional. The room was spotless, the staff helpful and welcoming; the location is perfect; value for money is exceptional as well. This hotel is, all round, a great place to stay and as a solo traveller I felt very safe.
The Tio Art Hotel was an excellent choice. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The shower was large as was the double bed. The breakfast was very good. The staff very helpful, although we did have to wait an hour for our room to be cleaned out but not a problem as they had places to sit and an American style diner next door if you need to grab a coffee. There is no restaurant but there are plenty around. Also lots of little cafes off the main Avenue and on it. Our room came with a bottle of wine and water also coffee making facilities. Asked for milk as we did not have any in the room and they supplied a hot pot of it. Air con was one of the best we have had. Easy to use and actually worked well!!!
This hotel is an oasis of hospitality— with an artitistic design: the reception besides a wine shop selling good Portuguese wine. Tge check - in went smoothly: thanks to a competent lady managing the distribution of the rooms for our small group— and spreading a charming flair of Portuguese hospitality. The breakfast excellent: with various offers to the delight of our group. The breakfast room and a cosy small but well arranged “ living room to chat and to relax and to read with a good glass of wine. zTge main alley in front of the hotel— and the historical side streets to be visited with some remarkable sculptures.A “ comfortable”/ sufficiently spacious bath-room
Very beautiful hotel, Art Deco style, great location to explore the area of Setubal . The staff is amazing, they surprised me on my birthday, so special! Very convient free parking at parking lot around the corner. And great breakfast!
