I stayed in this hotel as part of a business trip in April 2022. The hotel charged one of my colleagues over €100 after we had already paid for the room. On asking why they had done this, they denied it. Then we argued that it was not fair to be charged and they had no reason to charge us. When they found the transaction, they said that they couldn’t refund it until they found the ticket they’d made for the transaction in their own file. They said that they had misplaced it. We argued that we should still get a refund regardless of whether they have misplaced their own ticket. They eventually gave it to us avger much denial of their part. We have been back home 3 weeks, and one of our party has just been charged €500 for a soiling charge in several of our rooms. One day we asked for the sheets in one of the rooms to be changed because a small speck of blood from menstruation had gotten on them. The blood did not pass through to the mattress and therefore it was a simple change of sheets. Other than this, we have no idea what they are referring to. We have been emailing and calling and have been met with indifference. I would not recommend staying here.…
the hotel rooms are pokey in size and are poorly equipped: (1) hard bed; (2) no wardrobes; (3) no safe in the room; (4) need to request room cleaning on a daily basis; otherwise rooms left uncleaned; (5) No UK English TV channels provided (e.g. Sky TV, BBC World unavailable); (6) very thin towels; (7) no gown or complimentary slippers provided; (8) poor provision of consumables, e.g. only one sachet of coffee (not decaffeinated) and no milk sachets or bar of soap provided and the body lotion was runny like skimmed milk! Also, no check-in allowed before 2:00 pm, only one reception clerk found at the desk so there were often long queues, limited breakfast choice for a 4-star hotel.
I'm gong to try to be fair! My air conditioning also did not work - I reported this on multiple occasions and (I am not sure how to put this politely) but clearly I was misled. There was a new excuse every day and I think it was a quite well rehearsed deceit. It was 31 degrees outside and the room was unbearably hot. We originally booked pre pandemic and the hotel illegitimately refused to refund when they were shut and we could not travel. They very begrudgingly gave us a voucher but made it hugely difficult for us to use it, presumably in the hope we would give up. Wif fi as mentioned was non existent. Breakfast very expensive. Pros: Great location and reception staff were friendly. Breakfast at the cafe across the road was good
Positive - it’s in a good location and it’s clean Negative - no AC on hot days and only a very small window to try and cool the room. Each staff told us a different story about when the AC would work ranging from a few hours to 48 hours. WiFi is basically unusable.
The air conditioning did not work. The WiFi got 1 mps. They said they were fixing these multiple times but kept changing their story and never fixed either. It was hot and they said to open a window but the beeping from the crosswalk was very loud right outside. Also the toilet dripped and made noises at night that made sleeping even harder than just being hot. Do not stay here.
IF you want or need reliable and fast internet while visiting Lisbon - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. IF you want to see more than 12 TV channels, 10 of which are in French, German or Russian - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. IF you want drawer space or a closet for your clothes and suitcase - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you want a stylish, clean and well-located property, with easy access to the Metro and bus lines - STAY HERE.
Marketed as an executive hotel, this is anything but a cheap motel. I am light brunette, and found black hair in the bathroom. The floorboards were not fixed well together, almost cutting the bottom of my foot. Drapes were torn, and curtains stained. Pillows hard and lumpy, offering no soft or feather pillows. Having paid E166 per night for two nights, it took the untrained desk clerk 45 minutes to figure out how to reimburse my credit card for one night. He observed the dirty details and black hair, and apologized, stating they were having cleaning staff issues. I was also assured pick up from the airport for E20, only to arrive at the airport and be charged E31. Very poor command of the English language by Anna and Raquel the front desk staff. Hardly worth E166 per night!…
This hotel is in an excellent location for a short or long trip to Lisbon. The rooms are comfortable and spacious but don't have wardrobe or drawer space but an open hanging area. The breakfast area is a bit cramped but adequate. There is no separate dining area but breakfast is served in the bar area just off the lounge. Excellent staff in all departments, including the central reservations team, who go out of their way to help with your every need! Will definitely stay there again whenever we go to Lisbon again.
The location is around 200m from the Praca do Comercio, which is perfect location-wise. It is on a noisy street, but the windows do shut out the sound. However, the room was very hot (it was October) and the air-con dodgy. The hotel is very clean and all the staff were very nice. The shower sprayed everywhere, drenching the bathroom. Someone came to take a look, but it wasn't repaired, so we asked for extra towels to mop up and got them. None of the toiletries were replenished on Day 2, so I had to ask for shower gel. This should be automatically replaced I believe. The breakfast was buffet style, and small but adequate. There are booked times as it is a very small dining room. There is no restaurant for dinner, but there is a bar. We paid €360 for 2 nights B&B which was fine, given the location.…
Located in the centre of Lisbon one block back from the seafront with many bars and restaurants located near by. A 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station. The room was clean with plenty of toiletries. There was little furniture in the room to store things. At breakfast there is a good choice. The hotel arranged a taxi to the airport which cost 10 euros. Would stay there again.
