Not really good but not terrible. Bring ear plugs but there really isn't anything that bad about this place. It's cheap and in a good location. You could do a lot worse in lisbon. If I come back to Lisbon I'll probably spend some extra money to stay somewhere else but if this is in your budget you could do... More

This place is situated just next to a metro station and the famous tram line 28, so it's really convenient to get to. There is only access by stairs, so it's not a recommendable place for people with wheelchairs and the like. There is always a guy in the reception - an older, that speaks portuguese and french, and a... More

There's literally nothing bad I could say about our stay here: a good location (close to the centre), a nice room with shower and sink, good value for money... The staff didn't speak English - but for us that wasn't a problem but it could be difficult for other travelers. When we first arrived they didn't have our booking reserved... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed her for 4 nights this november. Our 2 person room was small but well equipped with an good shower cabin, sink, closet, table and bidet. Shared toilets are on the same floor and clean. Room was clean upon arrival and cleaned up really well every day. Wifi was fast and worked well in our room.... More

I had read on Wikipedia that the area was unsafe. However I never felt that way. The single room had a sink with mirror, bidet, satellite tv with English channels and free wifi. The room and shared bathroom were clean and never had to wait for the shower/bathroom. Very close to city center..less than a 10 minute walk. The woman... More

I cannot imagine better location. Its very close to the city centre and the metro station "intendente" is in front of the entrance of the hostel! Rooms are clean and they are being refresched during the day when you are out (including changing towels). You will find a shover and a bidet in a room. There is a fan in... More

We stayed here for three nights and found the place good value for our budget. It's walk-able from the centre of town, and has a Metro outside too which is great for airport transfers. The staff don't speak too much English but are helpful and friendly. The room we were in was basic but did have a shower. The toilets... More

We stayed in this hostel for one night in August and everything was great. It was very clean. Staff doesn't speak English, but they are trying and they are very nice and friendly. We read some reviews that it's pretty noisy, but we didn't hear anything. Location is excellent, there's a metro station right in front of the hostel. There's... More

You get what you pay for, it is good value but don't expect the world.. The hotel was very clean, it's run by a nice family (who are helpful but don't speak much English) and although the location's a little far from the very centre (about 15mins up/down hills) it's brilliantly located for public transport and on a central street... Ok, this is budget I understand however the rooms are on the 4th floor and there is NO air conditioning or even fans and the rooms are unbearably hot at night. It was 34 when we stayed and we woke up all night dying of heat. Excellent location wise, however the area is apparently only just becoming more popular after... More
